Please pray for my husband, Ron.

My husband Ron has had trouble eating. His food gets stuck in his esophagus. This has been going on for a couple of months. He finally went to the Dr and they put a scope down his esophagus. The Dr said there is a "nasty mass" growing in his esophagus. It will need to be removed. We are asking for prayers. We will get the biopsy results on Friday. Please pray that the mass is benign. Also we will be going to the Ohio State Medical Center next Thursday for an initial visit before they remove the mass.

Thanks,
Ollie

Ollie, I am surprised, but so glad that he had the scope.  We will be praying for him and you.  Just remember God is a God of Grace and Love, and Ron belongs to Him.  All your friends are going to be lifting their hearts and voices to our heavenly Father for His healing power.  With the recent death of your mom, I know this has been a difficult time.  If I can help, please let me know.  *love* and prayers, JF

I will be praying also for God's will in your life, as he is the one in control of all things, and nothing can happen to us that God does not allow.

I curse the "Mass" or whatever is there and order it to pass from his body in Jesus name.

Ollie,
Don't know where you are spiritually or your willingness to stand in faith "against all odds" but if you are, I would encourage you to read Dotie Osteen's book, Healed of Cancer, and get Kenneth E. Hagin's teachings on healing who had a special anointing for healing of cancer.

"The Lord gives His angels charge over you and nothing by any means shall harm you and they will bear you up lest you dash your foot."
I stand in agreement with you that this foreign growth is cursed from the roots and will die and pass from his body in Jesus name.

Ollie, I pray God's peace and presence in your life at this time. I am a cancer survivor myself and no matter how bleak it looks right now, God is in control and He has a plan. Keep the faith and know that strangers like me who are friends in Christ are praying and do care. Cancer is not a death sentence and God is able... do not forget that and stand on His promises. Will continue to pray  ...CG

I agree with LindaRN, Kenneth Hagan Sr. was a great faith man and had a teaching ministry that has benefited me in the past. He makes it simple to understand some of the questions of who we are in Christ and what we can expect from the Father who loves us more than we can understand. My prayers are with you both.

Oh, Ollie, I'm so sorry this battle is before you.  I was praying as I was reading all the posts.  God is so good and He is sovereign over all.  Our prayers are to the Great Physician who created us and knows how to fix us.  We are hoping for a wonderful report from you very soon.

Here’s what we found out at the James Cancer Center today:

1.    The tests that were done in our local medical facility (scope in the esophagus and the CT Scan) showed that the mass is cancerous but were not detailed enough to determine what stage it is.

2.    The next step is more testing at the James (scope with an ultrasound in it and a PET scan) to determine the stage and possible treatments.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Many blessings,
Ollie
