Hi Beth, how very sad that is to hear. After trying for so long to end his life - he finally was able to accomplish it. But even the way that he went about it was so drastic. My gosh - your daughter did the right thing in leaving. I am sure she did the best she could in the situation but he was obviously not willing or not able to get the professional help he needed.
Maybe she can find some comfort in the fact that he is in a better, more peaceful place.
I do hope she seeks someone professional to speak with about her feelings so she can process them appropriately.

I am so sorry for your loss, and I have felt your pain too. My husband's brother took his own life in 2005. He left behind 2 young boys that he was raising on his own. That is hardest part to me. I hope this isn't the case for you.
