East Coast Needs Prayers, Please!

I live in North Carolina and we are now under either
Tropical Storm or Hurricane WARNINGS.

I happen to live in the Tropical Storm area but
have family in the Hurricane area.

The Hurricane has been "down-graded" to a Cat.3,
which can still be devastating.

Please join me in prayer, not only for NC, but also for
the rest of the East Coast north of NC.

Our prayers are with you

Here in Louisiana, we are surely familiar with hurricanes!  We've had way more than our share, but we also don't wish them on anyone else.

Father God, please cause a calm to settle on all the people in the projected path of the hurricane.  Help each to prepare, but let them rest in You and trust You to care for them.  Lord, we ask that You cause the storm to veer to the east and not harm anyone.  Then I ask You to make it clear to each that it was Your mercy and goodness that caused this change.  Help those who never stop to give thanks to You, to pause and recognize that You are worthy of their gratitude.  We love You and give You the glory.  In Jesus' name we pray.  Amen!

We used to get 2-3 hurricanes EVERY season but haven't
had a major one for about 10 years (Floyd was the last
devastating one and it was absolutely horrible.)

Kathy so glad this storm was not anything like they thought it was going to be.  How are you doing?

My area of NC got very little wind and no rain even though
we were under tropical storm warnings.

The storm system turned just enough to miss us......thank the
good Lord.

The outer banks got some flooding and lost power, but to my
knowledge, no major damage.
