.......and I know there are others out there who may still be lurking....I was just reading some old posts and I realize that there are quite a few LDL'ers missing from our family of members. I think that some of the missing have had health problems along the way. Truly hope that things are better for you! Hey, even if you've fallen off the LDL wagon completely it's never too late to slowly begin again. We are all here to see you through the rough times!

I, too, was gone for quite awhile, but I returned to the fold. So glad I did!

Hi everyone!!  It's nice to know when you've been missed.  I hope everyone's doing well.  I dont have much time to go back through the threads to catch up on what's been going on, but I WILL try to get back on more.

I assume that by now, a lot of you have reached your goals.  I was 2 pounds away the week before Easter.  I did eat  off plan a bit the last 3 weeks or so, and not having time to cook on Easter weekend. That started me on a rather long stray.  I haven't dared to look at a scale for a week, and don't want until I am where I left off.  I'm close and not giving up!!

Got to go for now but know that I think about you all often, especially the San Antonio reunion trip.  I want to find out where you all are, too!

Soooo glad to hear from you Redkat! I was just reading and enjoying your posts the other day and wondered where you are.

Try not to look back at past diet indiscretions! We all can identify with you. The main thing is getting back on the LDL train! Don't even weigh yourself if you can help it. It's what your body will be in the near future that counts! Do your best and keep posting whenever you can. We're so glad that you are back.

I used to post here quite a bit and remember the people you have listed. There used to be a Red caboose thread, I think it was red?

I lost some weight on LDL but then maintained and could not go down any lower. I realized my personal body make up couldn't handle all the fruit though I just loved the way of eating. So I had to limit the amount of fruit I eat and really up the lean protein and veggies.

I am now at goal and will be using the LDL recipes as they are really good for me to maintain. The beans in the soups etc are a really good source of protein. I also use the trick of mixing the lean beef and ground turkey breast.  But I do have to limit the fruit to two servings a day.
I am doing to dig out my laminated recipe cards again. I remember when I was doing LDL everyone used to comment on my lunches smelling so good in the staffroom.

Thanks for posting Patns,
I think you hit on my problem. I eat a huge amount of fruit.
Mostly because it was more convenient and frozen fruit was handy.
Will try your suggestion.
