Brittany, all nuts and seeds are to be avoided.
Soy nuts are fine though, and you could add a few raisins.

The healthiest way to eat nuts is raw and the recommended way is BY THE HANDFUL......NOT THE CAN FULL!!!!
That being said, I know I cannot stop with just a couple nuts so ya, for me this is the best recommendation......STAY OUTA THEM!
Now I have had a few grated on a salad without a problem every once in a blue moon, but that is eating out.
I cannot have them in the house or I WILL binge.

Since you are already thin, nuts and seeds may be OK for you, Chewey.
Nuts and seeds are very calorie dense and can stall or even cause weight gain in those who have a great deal to loose especially if they are sedentary.

thank you for your reply but i do not like nuts/seeds thankfully! flaxseed makes me get hives ,explosive diarrhea and itchy red skin right after ingestion.

I am sure that sprouted seeds are OK, although I will not eat sprouted wheat. I like alfalfa sprouts and bean sprouts. I have a hard time stopping when I eat nuts as well. It is best for me not to buy them. Life is good. Choose life.

I eat nuts, not peanuts unless I'm at a restaurant that has the ones in shells. The scale moves up maybe a pound. So then, I stay away from them , and in two days the numbers are down. Then I buy another can and eat them. Sometimes I can go 3 weeks without some. I think I need the salt. I need to do popcorn. It does the trick. JF

I'm like Linda. Once I get started, it's way hard for me to put them down. I just don't buy them.
