Thanks in advance.

make sure you get the ORIGINAL with the yellow and blue packaging.  the others are not LDL approved.

Hi Terri and welcome.  I, too am a Newbie.  I have not found the Corn Thins here in Houston.  I need to do some calling around.  Maybe Whole Foods Market will have them, but there is not one close to me.  I did find some online and I have ordered a case of 12!  They should get here soon.  I love the discussion boards and the wonderful recipes.  There are very lovely people here who have been doing this much longer than we have and I love to read what they write.  I have had any and all questions that I have answered.  I am acquiring new friends here and I love it.  Best wishes for success to you.

Hi Jeanie and thank you.  I have looked around here at our health food store and no luck.  I will have to order them as well.  Me and another girl at work will go in halfs on them probably next week.  We both just love LDL!  However, I do have a thyroid problem and I am hoping that this program will work for me.  I just cannot seem to loose weight at all.  Anyways, it is nice just to have someone to talk to.      I wish you all the best as well.

Terri  :)

Since there were no Corn Thins to be found in our town, I called one of our health food stores and they said they didn't carry them, but they would be happy to order them in for me. She said she puts her order in on Friday, and it usually gets there by early Tuesday morning. Yay! I'll have a good stash of Corn Thins by Tuesday!

I say if you can't find Corn Thins in your area just make a few calls to some health food stores. They will more than likely order them for you, and you won't have to pay the shipping! (:

I just found out that Corn Thins now has a "Lemon-Pepper" variety that is new.  It is LDL approved - per Roger as the only added ingredients are "lemon and pepper".  My store does not have them.  SO, I cannot tell you how they taste.  I just found the Original ones last week and am really enjoying them.

If anyone tries them, please let us know how they taste.

Love,

Jeanne

Ooooooooh!  I'm going to look for these!  I get mine from a co-op type of place - just like those ordering on-line - I get them by the case.  John doesn't think that the original have much taste - but I'll bet he'd like the lemon pepper variety...

Thanks, Jeanne!

Well, my Corn Thins were delivered.  I fried an egg in EVOO and broke the yolk.  I spread polaner fruit spread on the bottom corn thin.  I put the fried egg on top and then a slice of fat free american cheese.  I put another corn thin on top and I had my own "Corn McMuffin."  Let me tell you...  It was definitely yummy.  The warm egg softened the Corn Thin a bit and it had a less crunchy texture.  It truly hit the spot.
