I have tried to post a profile photo, but I keep getting a message that says either too many pixels or too many magabytes.  I have tried resizing, but that doesn't work. Need help, please!

One of the members here resized my photo for me, so I know its the right size.. BUT it still will not show up for some reason...

I finally was able to get my photo resized, uploaded it to the gallery, and they said it was approved, but it still doesn't show up.  I guess the glitch isn't fixed yet.  Will someone let us know when everything's a go?  Thanks bunches.

Right click on your picture in the gallery, choose Properties, then highlight the URL. Then go to your profile and paste the url in where it asked for the url to the picture. Be sure to save the changes.

Linda,I did that, but all it shows is a box with a red X in it. Someone from the boards said that they have been having a problem with the website, and that Little Mary was working on getting it fixed. 

Oh, I forgot, my picture doesn't show in the gallery either.  Same box with the red X in it.

I went to the Gallery and saw your picture not showing. File size seems to be bigger than most. You can Email your picture to me and I can reduce it for you. Won't be able to get to it until late tonight after work and after stopping at Wal-Mart.

I've been experimenting (along with Mary J) and trying to post pictures to the gallery.  They always come up blank.  Since the web site was redesigned, nobody has posted pictures since February 7.  I believe the maximum file size is between 48 and 49 kb.  I hope they can fix it soon!!!

Ok, my photo was approved, and shows up in the gallery, but not in my profile when I post.  I clicked on the photo in the gallery, copied the url, and pasted in my profile, then clicked 'safe changes', but nothing.  What did I do wrong?

Try clicking on your picture in the gallery.  When your picture pops up, right click on it on click on "copy image location".

Try pasting this into your profile and see if that works???

I finally was able to get my pic posted in the gallery today!  YIPPEE!  BUT, for some reason it is still blurry, and the orginal pic is not at all.... oh well, at least its there, LOL...

When I right click on my picture, there is no 'copy image location', only copy.  Wouldn't that just copy the picture?  I tried copying the url again, but no dice.  What else can I try?

Ok, I think I've got it.

Yay, finally.  It worked.  Now everyone can see my 60 year-old mug.  Ug, did I say 60.  Gee, I'm getting old.   But thanks to LDL, I'm getting younger every day, at least physically.  Tee, hee, hee!
