Thanks for all the happy dances!  I am so glad you are doing the bootcamp too Beth!  Woo hoo, day 3, yippee!  Gem...are you in for 7 straight days of bootcamp too?  It doesn't matter what level you are working at or what workout you are doing.  I really haven't read through this thread in awhile and so I don't know who is interested in Ttapp besides you 2.  Anyone is welcome to try this exercise workout with us, so please don't feel excluded if I did not mention your name.  It is not something connected to LDL, because as you know Roger states in his book exercise was not necessary for him to lose weight. However, he also says it sure will help too.  I am thinking as I lose I will need to tighten up and there are other great health benefits to ttapp, which I am interested in.  I have also proved to myself by my inch loss in 1 week that this form of exercise really works.  Now I just have to stay motivated for another 7 days....taking it one day at a time!

At this point, Kathie, no bootcamp, but I am doing the program, or a rough facsimile, thereof, every day, and have for the past 10 days..  I think there are going to be a lot more interested "bodies" as we--well, you and Beth, anyway--stack up empirical data that T-Tapp is to exercise, what LDL is to weight loss.

I am glad that you reminded readers that the two programs are not connected in any way, even though there is definitely a synergy between them, and that T-Tapp is not endorsed by LDL.  I like the line in Roger's book about his mother, where he writes she lost 50 pounds, and the only exercise she got was fetching the newspaper.
That's my kind of exercise!

Hey Beth and Kathie...and any other interested T-Tappers...

I was just thinkin'... (Uh-oh!  Here comes trouble!  :stop:)...wouldn't it be incredible if we could get Teresa Tapp to come to the LDL Convention next year?  Doesn't she say somewhere on her site that she will go anywhere there are at least 15 people interested in experiencing her program?  Well, gee, even if she came to San Antonio and did a closed session with the LDLers, she could still schedule other sessions for the general public.  San Antonio should be a good market area, don't y'all suppose?  Maybe we could ask Little Mary...?

Ladies I'm seriously thinking about trying ttapping after reading of your results. I really want to focus on my whole body and would love to shape my arms. What program in your opinion should I look into? Should I buy the book?
Thanks!

We'd love to have you join us!  Go to page 2 of this thread and see reply 18, and 19--that might help you decide if this is for you.  If it kindles an intrest, go to the T-Tapp site, and read the testimonials, look at some clips, try out some of the moves...I think Kathie is your best resource, or Beth.  Me?  I'm doing the time, working at getting the moves down, remedial T-Tapping, as I tease myself.  It's not the program's fault I have poor coordination--and I am getting better--which is another reason I need this type of concentrated brain/body type of body conditioning.

Stephy, I am doing what is called the "basic workout plus."  It is 20 minutes tops and I am still getting great results! Go to the link Gem gave you, nose around, read some success stories, and try some of the moves.

Gem, that would be so fun to have a ttapp demo as part of the convention.  I am so bummed because I probably won't be there.  But, it would be a nice way for others to experience it.

This from my journal today:

10th day of TTapp, yippee for bootcamp!  :D

Ttapp completed for the day!

I just noticed at the beginning of my tape, Basic Workout Plus, it claims you will lose 2 sizes in 4 weeks, cool!  I never noticed that before skipping all the blah blah at the beginning and going straight to the workout.

It pays to read things...this wise wisdom from a readling specialist!  (me  ;) )

Hey, Kathie...

Fancy meeting you here!  Beth should be T-Tapping along just about any time now.

Great minds and all that!  I left a link to us on the "other" T-Tapp thread on June 25th, and when I visited today, who should I find but you, doing the same thing!

I'm anxious to see the results you and Beth achieve in the long term.  I don't expect any immediate losses myself because of my stop and go technique--try a position, correct it, try again, modify, try again, pick up the remote and toss it under the bed to my woolly mammoths...crawl under and wrestle the remote away...try again...

Gem, you should still get results with doing the ttapp anyway you can manage.  According to Theresa, when doing it to the best of your ability, even though off from perfect form, you are still working those muscles and will get results.  Improvement of form comes in time, so don't get discouraged.  She said this when I saw her speak in person.  It was right about when she had us all get up and do hoe downs together and people were falling all over the place, lol! Anyway, I sure hope you took some measurements, because I would bet you are getting results!

Hi,ya'll! Just popping in for quick hello during lunch!! 5 days in a row for me!! Might be a record...I thnk the first time, last year, I just did 4 days in a row, then went to every other. But I am committed this time. I think I will take my daughter's laptop to play the DVD so I can hide in my bedroom next week at my parents house. I watched her seminar DVD yesterday where she explains so much about T-tapp. It was good!!
Gem, that's a great idea if Theresa Tapp could come to San Antonio!! I'm hoping that I can arrange to be there!!
Have a great day!
Hugs, Beth *hug* *hug*

Beth, way to go, 5 days...yippee!  I finished day 12 today.  Only 2 more days and I will have completed 14 days straight of bootcamp.  I never was able to accomplish this before.  I agree with you that it is interesting to find out the theory and reasons behind the ttapp movements from Theresa's instruction.  There are just so many health benefits!

Woo, ttapping and LDL together totally rocks!

another drum roll please......rat ta tat, rat ta tat....

This week I lost....
1 inch in my bust, 2 inches in my waist, and 1 inch in my hips!  I thought my numbers would be way down the second week, but I still lost 2 inches in my waist.  I just can't believe it!

Here are the grand totals for the 14 days straight:  (inches lost)
bust - 3
waist - 4.5
hips- 3
for a whopping total in the 3 areas of 10.5 inches!!!!

If anyone is sitting on the fence with ttapp, go on over to the site and try it.  I was actually in a weight loss plateau for awhile.  If I would not have had this inch loss to cling to, it would have been hard to ride out the stall in weight loss.  But, I even got the bonus of the plateau being busted because I also lost a pound this week...woo hoo!  LDL and ttapp go together so well for me.  Although it may not be for everyone, it might be for you.  So check it out.

Alright!!! You go, girl!!! That's what I've been waiting to hear!! YAY!! I am so proud of you! :D

Me,too....9 days straight is some kind of minor miracle for me ;)

You have been an inspiration to me!!  :rose: :rose: :rose: I keep telling myself, "Kathie has done the whole 14 days so can you!" No weaseling out on my part!  Last night I did not get around to t-tapping until 6pm, then at 10pm my regular bedtime, I was wide awake!! So I better keep on with my mornings!

AND.....what kind of plateau is a 1 lb loss...l lb is 4 sticks of butter that are gone forever, and besides that, we are building muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat...at least, that's what I've always heard, never experienced it before!!

Good job, Kathie...you are the t-tappin' inspiration!!!!

Many hugs, Beth  *hug* *hug* *hug* *hug* *hug* *hug* *hug* *hug* and a rose :rose:

Yippee for you Beth...9 days straight!  :D  Have you taken measurements yet?  After awhile I was not so worried about the inches I might lose or not lose, but just wanted the self satisfaction of sticking to exercise for 14 straight days.  I can sense some of the same kind of thinking in your post.  You go girl....you will make it!  For some reason, even when I did the ttapp very late at night, it did not keep me up.  But, if it does that for you, yep better do it in the monring.  The plus, then it will give you energy all day!

Kathi,

You have been having incredible results. I am so happy for you!  It does seem like T-Tapping is a great partner for LDL.

I am not ready to jump on yet having a lot of other things I need to concentrate on but I am setting a goal that you can hold me to - when I reach onederland, I will join you. I have 17 lbs to go --- not too long and the other things in my life will have cleared up by then.

Sounds like LDL.  How many of us just jumped right in with LDL before we had it down perfect........and it still produced results.
I will look into ttapp when I get back from vacation around the end of July.  Kathie you a good cheerleader for ttapp and Let's Do Lunch.
