Green Tea
I like to drink Nestea drink mixes. They are like crystal light except they are sweetened with splenda. I was looking at the ingredients, which are dextrose, citric acid, sodium citrate, green tea powder, flavour, suralose and silicon dioxide. Is dextrose o.k. Eileen

Re: Green Tea
The short answer is no. Dextrose is sugar.
I don't even find these on the Nestea website. I wonder if they've been discontinued. I found some sites selling them, but no details on the corporate site.
Did you list the ingredients in order? Usually if you fine sugar in the top three or four ingredients in anything, we don't eat/drink it. The site selling these lists them as 5 calories each, which means each tube of mix contains 1/3 teaspoon or less of dextrose. (Sugar has 16 calories per teaspoon.)
For some people, any sugar can lead to cravings which can ruin their resolve and then ruin their diet. You'll have to decide if that's the case for you. What I would do, if I were you, it to put them away for several weeks, maybe three months, and then try a couple and see if they cause cravings. If so, pitch 'em.

Re: Green Tea
Thanks for letting me know. That is likely why I'm not loosing. I lost 4 lbs the first four days and then quit. I'm going to pitch them. Eileen
