Fasting

Post by Somerville »

:bomb: What are your views about fasting for one day?  I used to do this once in awhile just to clean my system out.  Is it alright to do this on ldl?    Eileen

Hi Eileen,

Fasting can be a very personal thing.  Many people do it for religious reasons and that is their choice.  It is also your choice if you want to fast to clean out your system.  That being said, I would just like to say that I believe on LDL you don't need to fast for this reason.  LDL is probably the healthiest way you can possibly eat.  If you are following the plan as written, then your body will be naturally balanced and you won't be carrying all that junk around that needs to be cleaned out.  Does that make sense?  And for me personally, I don't want to be hungry for a whole day!    I hope this helps.

I was very bloated in wk 2, Eileen.  (Gosh, we tell all don't we? )
I did just fruit for one day and lots of water and that seemed to do the trick. Roger recommends fruit and soup as Jerzy mentioned, but I didn't want the sodium from the soup to interfere with my progress.

Just fruit is better than no food at all.  :D

Do you live in Somerville, NJ?

No....I live in Haliburton, Ontario. Canada.  I have trouble getting some of the products here but  I'm managing.  I'm a cashier in a grocery store so I'vehad them order in a few things for me.  It's also a bad place to work if your trying to loose weight.  I'm also a bookkeeper for a local repair shop and that's a little easier to deal with.  Where can I get ICBINB spray?    Eileen
