I did train for 4 month.  and I do remember that first mile that i did.  I couldn't go 1/2 block with out weezing and huffing, gasping for air and was so sore after two short miles that i walked  most of it.

I do give credit to my Dog Yoda who ran with me for most of the training miles even when I did 10 miles.  And my husband who said nothing but good things, streatch my legs, and massaged my tired body and went with me on my 12 mile practice run.  I give them

I am thakful for all my good LDL friends who cheer me on and pick me up when I am down!

My 9yo son was baptized Sunday.  Our church has a baptismal service only once/yr because we have it at the river.  He professed Christ a few years ago but just expressed a desire to be baptized last winter.  Our pastor explained then that the service would be in the summer.  Imagine our surprise when it just happened to be on this son's 9th birthday.  It was an absolutely beautiful day!

If you put your mind to it you can do it.  5 months ago I could not run a 1/2 block.  I am so proud of my self.  Now I am going to work on my weight.  I know i will do that too.

Snoopy, have you seen the LDL cheer?  Well, you know the traditional one, hip hip hooray!  The LDL one is hips hips away!  I think it was Mary who coined that one.  Anyway, I think anyone who can run a 1/2 marathon can definitely be successful with LDL. I am cheering for you!

I am thankful today that I can do ldl even though I work nights, I am thankful that I have air conditioning in this heat, and I am thankful to God for giving me my dh and his wonderful support (even if he won't do ldl).

I am so very grateful for having seen Roger's story in a magazine.  I'm grateful that I have stayed with the plan for almost 2 months!  I really haven't been very hungry. 

I'm also very thankful that my computer is once again up and running!  What did we ever do without them? LOL.  I guess having the computer as my addiction of choice, instead of food is a good thing~ 

Last but not least, I'm thrilled and thankful that my good friend/supervisor has started the plan as well, and ordered a book. 

Thanks again for all of you being out here and encouraging others.  It means a lot.

Today I am thankful for Snoopy.  She has made me proud.  I never wanted to bug her about her weight as I have been heavy all my life.  I a so glad she is with LDL.
The other thing the other day I was thankful for the rain of 4 inches.  One problem the Lord went off and left the spicket on.    Oh my what a water bill he is going to have.  I wish I could send it to the drought area's.

IT is friday.  I am so greatful for today.  It is the end of my week at the market.  It has been a long week.  With back to school the market is slow.  I am greatful for the nice veggies I have and being able to share them with others.  I come in contact with so many.  I am also greatful for the baptism at church wed night.  I new soul to christ.
