First and foremost, do yourself a favor and buy the book.  You must read the book in order to fully understand this way of eating in its entirety.  It will also give you the insight and benefit of understanding Roger Troy Wilson's story, going from being morbidly obese to slim and healthy.  You can order the book right here on the website, at www.letsdolunch.com.  You would be doing yourself a disfavor if you try to follow Let's Do Lunch by simply reading a very condensed, abbreviated version of it.

However, while you're waiting for your book to arrive, you can start making some changes immediately.  Do yourself a favor and get rid of all the bad "white stuff" that's hanging around your house.  By that, I mean white rice and potatoes and sugar and white flour products and full-fat dairy products.  Stop buying nuts, too. When you get the book, there is a section that tells you which foods you can eat instead of any of those items when you have a craving for one of them. Start eliminating the processed foods from your pantry.  If it's processed, it's probably fattening. Whenever possible, just keep unacceptable foods out of the house! That way you can't be tempted to eat them when you're bored. You want good healthy foods the way they were created!  You can eat lots and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Lean meats (i.e. the leanest cuts of beef, skinless chicken and turkey breast) and virtually all seafoods are acceptable, so you will never get bored by limits and restrictions to your diet.  To begin with, eat as much as you need to of these healthy foods, whenever you need to, to get rid of your cravings for the bad stuff.
