I love lemon juice in my water and on fish, etc. I know lemons are fruit, of course, but they're not sweet. ( I don't care for fruit). In fact, if I could be assured that the enamel on my teeth wouldn't be damaged, I would eat lemons with salt quite often. But I guess all that sodium wouldn't be good, either!
I'll just use more lemon juice to marinate!

Be careful! You'll end up with Ceviche if you let the fish marinate too long unless, of course, you like it.
It's a very popular dish in Tampa (Latin restaurants)....served on lettuce with sweet potato, corn and avocado...definitely LDL friendly.
I eat lemons and limes with Himalayan salt so I don't have to worry about the swelling afterwards. So far my dentist hasn't said anything to me about my enamel....and believe me, he would.
