Mrsj, Thanks.  It is a blessing that my daughter and I have found this WOE.  It is the first time that I have ever experienced losing weight and satisfaction together.  My daughter picked me up for a Delta Kappa Gamma meeting last night, and I had a new pair of jeans(Levi) on because we were touring one of our new schools as part of our meeting.  I said,"do you think I am trying to look too young."  She said, "Mom, you look terrific."  I said back to her, "I never thought I would ever be this small again."  My weight just couldn't budge, until God allowed me to discover LDL.  I think the people on the boards have helped me so much.  You are so positive. I want to help all reach their goals.  :rose: :rose: :rose: to you, Joyful Friend

Hello Rodger, my name is Terri aka Terlyn.

I have learned about you through crickadoodle at our church. I attended her Sunday night class (2/21/10) about you, your book and how your meal plan works. Rodger can I tell you one thing, if this plan can get me to look like crickadoodle, you have a determined LDLer here. She looks amazing, crickadoodle and I are the same height 5'7 and she weigh the same as I did when I was in high school. She is a fantastic teacher of your meal plan and very knowledgeable how this meal plan works.

My problem started three years ago, when I got hurt as a security guard. I have nerve damage in my left hip and now have a spinal cord simulator in my back to help deal with pain management.

Up until now I have lead a very active life, raised 4 kids, on a 200 head cattle ranch here in South Louisiana, rodeo and horse shows was our lifestyle. Photographed for our local new paper and was the only woman rodeo photographer in the south. I plan on writing a book one day called Cows, Kids and Camera's, the story of my life..lol. I also have worked at an Elk ranch in Colorado, on a horse all day taking guest on mountain trail rides, that was my dream job. And that were I was for 911 the day after my birthday 9/10, funny how we will never forget where we were on that awful day. I've work night sift security in hospitals, casino's because of my extreme night owl ways of life..lol. Also ways volunteering to help with Red Cross and other Organization after disasters.

As you see I've been very active in my life, and now I'm weigh close to 275, and can't exercise like I would too, and it devastating to me to be this way. But now I think I can see a ray of sunshine at the end of this long journey I'm begining under crickadoodles wing.   I have 9 grandchildren to look forward having fun with in life, I need to get my life back.

Rodger, I have been up all night reading on this message board and research articles on line about you and your meal plan and I just order you book and recipe cards today. I have join the ladies in the fruit & soup flush today. and love the encouragement I see everyone is sharing on your message boards. I look forward to posting a lot and learning a lot from these message boards. And  thank you Rodger for the facebook about LDL, I'm a big facebooker and have passed your facebook page on to my friends.

LOL....Well enough for now!

Can you tell I'm excited about your meal program ( crickadoodle says never say the D word, say LIVET as in Live it!)

God bless and keep you safe, Rodger!

Welcome Lady of Change,
Sounds like you are off and running....
Another success story in the making!
Be sure and take pictures and measurements.
The more before, during and after pictures Roger gets, the more media attention Lets Do Lunch will attract.
The more media attention is put out there the more people can have the opportunity to turn their life around.
