Cooked two Little Mary soups for my hostess

Post by yourdish »

We've been visiting my brother and sis in law and my elderly mother. One day my sis in law had to attend something all day, so I cooked up Israeli Chickpea soup, and also a batch of Most Filling Tomato, two of our favorites. They got rave reviews the first night and people were asking for their favorites the next day at lunch.

This behavior on my part is a "first," and my relatives were thrilled because they eat vegetarian and love meals with legumes and good flavors. They were so filled with good cheer, my sis in law taught me to knit!

Talk to you guys soon,

I am a hugh soup lover!  I have made China Doll's Chicken Soup and Eddie's Hearty Homemade Vegetable Soup from my LDL recipe cards and they are GREAT!  I have added more soup recipes to my LDL recipe binder that look really interesting -- should be an experience
