Has anyone done research on these blenders and know the best deal per dollar?  Ours really needs to be retired (have had it 15 yrs and has had almost daily use the past two...I read on the side "for occasional use").  Are there commercial ones?  I would do the research myself but am still without internet...just my
Blackberry and I'll have to go out on the deck just to send this.

Blessings and Thanks,
Julie

Julie,

I bought a Cuisinart Smart Stick about two years ago and don't know how I lived without it before that!  It's a work horse and purees things into "cream".  It came with the immersion blender and attachments, including a small "blender" with blades that I use to make salad dressing and chop up veggies for omelets and frittatas.  It also has a whip and container to whip up egg whites and/or yolks for omelets, etc.  I think I paid about $29.00+ at Linens and Things, but I'm sure you can check Amazon, etc.  Hope this helps.
