This is not my recipe, but Tori's Apple Pie Smoothie is a hit with my whole family.

The simplest smoothie I do is with (no sugar added) canned peaches, juice and all, and banana.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about LDL showcased in a national magazine!

My absolute favorite is apple juice, 1 banana, frozen strawberries, vanilla (splash) and dash of cinnamon and a splash of either Nonfat Milk (for calcium that I don't get elsewhere) or splash of Unsweetened Soy Milk (usually Nonfat milk...about 1/4 cup) Blend together til smooth and enjoy!

MMmmmmm Smoothies! My favorite is:
8oz Frozen Mango (1/2 sm bag)
6oz Frozen Rasberries (1/2 sm bag)
24 fluid oz Apple Juice (1/2 frozen concentrated can + 1&1/2 cans water)
Serves: 2 large (full meal type servings)/ 4 small (having something else w/BF too)
Variations:
Toss in a little raw spinach just because I'm Mom and can:-)
1 pack Acai for an extra boost of energy (when I won't be able to slow down for good food later)
1 pack Emergen-C for extra immunity boost (when fighting illness)

Re: Need You Best Fruit Smoothie Recipes
Roger,
My favorite smoothie requires no measuring - I put some frozen mixed fruit (about a cup or cup & 1/2), frozen strawberries(5-6 large), a banana & a few heaping tablespoons of canned pineapple (with juice). I put in a little orange juice and then fill the vitamix up with Arizona Diet Green Tea. Blend it up - voila! Yum!
This turns out a little different each time, but it's always good. The nice thing is that I can substitute any fruits if I'm out of something.

Don't know if it is too late to add to this or not, but here is our family favorite:
Tori's Tropical Breeze Smoothie
1 frozen banana
4-5 frozen strawberries (no sugar added)
1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple chunks
1/4 cup 100% pineapple juice
1/4 cup unsweetened orange juice
Blend well. If needed, add a small amount of non-fat milk if smoothie is too thick for you.
Makes approximately 20 oz. of smoothie.
These are a couple other smoothie recipes I came up with that were really good as well:
Tropical Grape Smoothie
Apple Pie Smoothie
(Thanks Mrs. J. for posting my Apple Pie Smoothie!)
Feel free to use any that you wish, Roger!
