I love the excitement of John Grisham's novels. I stayed up past midnight last night half way through his latest work The Appeal. Do any of you other Lets Do Lunchers like his work?

John Grisham anyone?
Re: John Grisham anyone?
Like several of his other books, although it's a work of fiction, you can absolutely see that things go on behind the scenes with politics, the law, and big businesses, that the average person on the street knows nothing about. Now that I'm retired, I have much more time on my hands to read. I find his books sometimes start off a bit slowly, but then I get hooked and can't put them down. Reading a good Grisham book at night instead of roaming through the kitchen looking for snacks works wonders.

He wrote a non-fiction book a couple of years ago that I picked up in an airport entitled "The Innocent Man" about a true miscarriage of justice. WELL WORTH READING. And Little Mary you don't like football?
