I would be afraid of anything that had whole grain in it. When I think whole grain I think flour. I might be wrong if so I apologize before hand. List the ingredents and we can tell better

Ladies,
I did a research on the company and these are rice based and, therefore, are not allowed on LDL.
I'm sorry for those of you who are eating them but they will cause weight gain if you continue to eat them.

Re: Suzi's puffed corn thin cakes?
I'm confused...the company does have rice, spelt, & kamut as other types of thin cakes available.
The ones pictured on www.goodgroceries.com is NOT the product I have.
Label reads:
PUFFED CORN
INGREDIENTS- CORN, SEA SALT
It looks a lot more natural looking in appearance than the Corn thins, & IMO it tastes more popcorny-ish.
It looks like the popcorn hulls are also pressed into the cake.
So, if it's rice based, isn't illegal to put CORN, SEA SALT as the only ingredients listed as Ingredients?

There are two thread going about this product Niki says she's going to look for some since they're closer to her neighborhood.
Since the ingredients are clearly listed as corn and salt, they darn well better not contain rice. I think their website isn't current, and this must be a new product. Also considering it's hard to find them mentioned on the web, they must be new.

if you have this product and it says corn and sea salt for ingredients and looks like pressed together popcorn, interchange it with cornthins........i won't be going to the store i buy corn thins from for a while, but if i find these, i'm going to buy some....if they're cheaper than corn thins, i'll only buy these....they MUST taste similarly and actually corn thins also contain oil....................

O.K. While we are on the subject I am going to chime in here...I would stay away from corn thins UNTIL you reach your goal...I know they are good but when I was heading towards my goal weight, I lost faster without them...When you reach your goal then you can experiment with this stuff but this is just my personal opinion.. Opinions are like noses everyone has one.HA!!

preachwife,
A lot of us have stalled while eating them. I think you just have to experiment with your body because everyone is different.

Re: Suzi's puffed corn thin cakes?
I was buying corn thins from The Green Grocer. They were the only place in town that offered them. They stopped stocking these and replaced them with Suzi's Corn Cakes. They really are much more natural tasting than corn thins.
