Note: Please see your doctor for approval before starting any new exercise, and before using the swimming pool for health & weight loss. Also, what I do below for 2 hours every day, I believe can be accomplished by doing it for Only 1/2 Hour!

I have changed my every-day swimming to include the following, while listening to my favorite music on Neets' I-pod (hooked up to a speaker...with both sitting on the edge of the pool):

1. While lying on my back, I do the Reverse-butterfly stroke with my arms, while my legs do the scissor-kick...I do laps in the deep end.

2. Then, every other lap, my body is straight up in the pool, while doing the butterfly stroke with my arms, while my legs are constantly bicycling.

I have been doing the above for 2 hours nonstop, Almost Every Day since July 23rd, and I Never get tired of doing this...in fact, I look forward to doing it every day! I feel Totally Healthy, my energy has skyrocketed, I'm losing all the weight I gained while Neets and I were taking care of my Mom in our home...although my body, many days, feels wiped out (it's All Worth It!).

Food is the substance most abused for stress and anxiety, and exercise is the most underused antidepressant. When you eat right and exercise you have a sense of well being. I have been in Alaska 1 1/2 weeks and haven't been swimming as I usually do 3-5 times a week. I really feel it and am feeling more stress. I need to get to a pool!! I feel like a fish out of water.
