In an email directly to me, you asked me to:
"Please go to our "message boards" and post your progress there. Further, please list the ingredients of the Goji Juice on the message boards and I will comment on them. ~ Roger Troy"

The ingredients to Goji Juice are:
Reconstituted goji juice from whole 'Lycium barbarum' fruit, grape juice concentrate, pear juice concentrate, apple juice concentrate, pear puree, and natural flavor, with sodium benzoate nd potassium sorbate added to maintain freshness.

Dr. Earl Mindell, who wrote "The Vitamin Bible", is who formulated the juice and I am an independent distributor for Dr. Mindell.  If you would like to know more about goji juice, here are some websites:
www.gojibook.com
www.gojihealthstories.com
www.wedreamon.freelife.com (to order)

Let me know if you have other questions or want to know more about this wonderful, all natural juice.

Hi, CMoe. What in the world is "Lycium barbarum" fruit? I've never heard of it.

Also, I'm afraid that the "natural flavor" could be regular sugar.

Therefore, I would still suggest that everyone stay with pure fruit juices, with no sugar added.

Actually, I would suggest that everyone stay with the sweetest fresh fruits and fruit smoothies, instead of even pure fruit juices.

God bless,

Roger Troy

Lycium Barbarum is the Latin name for the Goji Berry, which grows in the Himalayan Mountains.  I am sure the fruit juice does not have sugar added.  On the label Dr. Mindell has a statement that reads, "Contains no added sugar, artificial colors, sweetners, or flavors."  The juice is a health juice and it is good for everyone.

Thanks for your responses though.

Tress, I forgot to tell you that if you go to www.pubmed.com, you can find the scientific explanations for Lycium Barbarum.  That is the website where all the research is documented.  Thanks.

Hi CMoe,

I'm glad that you're on Let's Do Lunch because it's a great way of eating to lose weight.  I guess that you, as a distributor of Goji Juice, are hoping to get some endorsement for it so you can sell more of it to the members of these boards.  It's probably good stuff as it's all natural juice. I spent some time reading the links you posted.  My son Ben was a distributor for Mona-Vie, another great natural health drink, and I remember 6 or 8 months ago he tried to sell some to Roger.  Ben was disappointed when the product wasn't automatically given Roger's "LDL Seal of Approval," because it is proven to have many healthy benefits.

Here's the thing, though......even if these natural juices are believed to be healthy additions to our diets and may have great preventative medicinal properties, they are not anything that must be integrated to the Let's Do Lunch way of eating or living.  The simple way of following Roger's eating plan is how Let's Do Lunchers choose to lose weight, without any supplements or even exercise (the dreaded word!!!)  "Exercise" is a good word to explain what I'm trying to say, our friend.  We all KNOW it's good for us, but it's not ever going to be necessary with Let's Do Lunch.  Similarly, if anyone is interested in finding out if their life will be improved with the Goji juice you're selling, they now have the information at their fingertips to investigate it for themselves.  The "endorsement"on these boards is as unlikely as it was for Ben's "Mona Vie,"however, because Let's Do Lunch is a weight loss plan, not a "stop your joints from aching and prevent cancer or memory loss" plan.  Please accept what I'm saying in a spirit of kindness and understanding.  There is a difference which I now understand between these two subjects, so they can not be "tied together" in any way, but you have offered out the information incase anyone wants to research your product.

When we sign on as members, we agree that we are not going to be selling anything. Oddly enough,(something only a couple of people knew until this moment,) the one thing that stopped me being in for a good chance with a show on the FoodNetwork two years ago was that I wanted to endorse "Let's Do Lunch," and the Food Network's rules forbade me from endorsing any other product....and the only food I wanted them to film me shooting was Let's Do Lunch food, and I wanted to tell everyone about "Let's Do Lunch!"  The recipes were good, my t.v. presentation is good, but I was viewed as a salesperson making a salespitch instead of an unbiased television presenter shooting cooking segments.  So I was disqualified from filming before the first episode could even be filmed.  The reason I mention this is we're in a similar position, I think.  You believe in your product, but the "regulations" mean we can't say "yes" or "no" to the Goji Juice, because it's not what Let's Do Lunch is about.  That's all, CMoe.

I hope you stick with Let's Do Lunch, and if you haven't already reached your desired "weight goal," stick with the program and I'm sure you will.

Blessings,

Little Mary

I will always practice the LDL eating plan.  It is how I lost the weight I have lost to date (13 pounds) and kept it off.  I have 20 more pounds to lose before I am at my original (pre-hysterectomy due to cancer) weight.

Also, the Goji Juice is something I will always drink because it is more than just a juice.  It is the nutritional boost that I, and everyone, needs in order for our bodies to work at it's optimum.  It is more than a juice because of the goji berry, which is the ingredient that makes it unique and special.  More and more people will begin to hear about the goji berry because it is hitting the nation by storm.  If there is anyone who is having any medical problems at all, I encourage them to go to www.gojihealthstories.com and read what Goji Juice has done for others.  If they are interested in learning more, they can contact me.  It is up to them if they want to know more.

I am not trying to take away from LDL by talking about goji berry and the juice.  I think LDL is one of the greatest things and I tell others about the eating plan and how I lost my weight, and how I am not hungry all the time (like a diet).  I just think there are other nutritional products and practices that everyone needs in order to stay healthy.  Ideal weight and nutrition will keep us alive and young for longer periods of time.

God bless and thanks for your feedback Mary.

Cmoe,

Congrats on your weight loss. I also hope your business goes well for you.

I am however glad to hear about the "rules." I have a Christian brother who is involved in Zango. He deeply believes that he was led to it by God not only to take, but also to sell. He would like me (a salesman) to be involved with it. I have read all about mangostein and it's wonderous effects, but I am just not interested. I would hope that we keep this site foccused on the prize ahead.

God Bless you and yours,

Gregg
