Review of LDL Adult class

Post by Joyful Friend »

Roger, you would have been very pleased with the professional way the ESC grant education department put together the classes.  I gave three printouts to them, and they were handed out to the participants at the class.  They looked professionally done.  Yesterday, I got some feedback.  There were many people who attended who are professionals in different work places, so I was pleased when several called for a chat.  I am so thankful to God for His energy.  I taught  elementary school in Gallia County and Cincinnati, Ohio.  After I retired in 1990, after 32 years, I was asked to come back as drug coordinator for elementary, then secondary.  I did that for 9 years.  I did many  drug education classes for high school students.  Only God could have allowed me to do those classes.  I attended many seminars in Ohio during those 9 years which energized me to be the best I could be.  Now, because of the LDL way of eating, God is allowing me to help people through your plan.  Today, I still get so many former students who remind me that I helped them.  I am hopeful that it will be the same with LDL.  I couldn't do the classes without JESUS CHRIST, my Foundation and Rock. "I can do all things through Him, Who strengthens me." Then second, my DH has inspired me. He is constantly cleaning up the kitchen and carrying things for me.  He is a wonderful helpmate-no wonder we have been married 52 years.  The books were the icing on the cake!!!  Country Girl, even after a long day of teaching, helps inspire me.  I speak with the Appalachian slant; however, she has the best pronunciation skills.  She does the pronouncing of words for spelling contests.  She is great in presenting LDL principles.  There are many in our area who embrace LDL, but Ollie was my first success. She inspires me.

Hi Joyful Friend!
Thanks for being inspirational!  :rose:
I'm recommitting .... I never have gone off of the program totally but haven't stuck to it closely enough the last 5 months to loose any more weight!
I have had many people ask me about LDL! (What a blessing that they have noticed my weight loss!!   ) Some have ordered books and some have tried it! I don't feel that I am the authority that I should be because I have stalled in my weight loss....but So VERY thankful for what I have lost and that I have been able to maintain it but I have 30 pounds more to go!
I've been too busy helping my Mom lots and involved with family to be able to help enquirers as I would like to. Hopefully I can be more of a help to them in the future!
I want to be a success for others as well as for myself!
One lady wants to meet with me next week and discuss the LDL way of eating!
*hug* and Prayerfully,
Beth

Beth, thanks.  You will do it, because you know you will feel better and have more energy to help your mom.  Helping others always ends up helping you, so it's wonderful that you want to help.  LDL is a wonderful way to help  all of us to feel better and to lose those unwanted lbs. for life.  Thirty lbs. will be gone  by Spring if you recommit to LDL principles.   :D JF

Thanks, Cameron.  I had another good class on Thursday.  Fifty people attended.  So many of them had lost already on LDL so had questions, and others were eager to learn.  Everyone loved the food.  We got great feed back from the attendees.  I will be doing another class in Nov. in Jackson, Ohio.  I was really tired after the Thursday's class. Too tired to blog. .  JF

Thanks, Roger.  I love spreading the wonderful WOE that has helped me so much.  The feedback from the people with success in weight loss makes it worth  any of my efforts.  I plan to help whenever I am asked and have the time.  Many people in our area are finding success on LDL.  Praises to my wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ.  *love*  *hug*  :D  JF
