Love this eating program

Post by gymgirl21532 »

Hi All, My name is Tiffany.  I just got the book on Tuesday and finished it today.  I am a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.  One of my clients told me about this book.  I found the book very enjoyable to read.  I have Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) with insulin resistance so I really struggle to lose weight.  I have been on a very popular diet program for 8 months and have lost 20 lbs.  However, I find it helpful to supplement the program with other information that I get such as the information in this book.  I struggle with carb cravings so I have stayed away from carbs even fruit.  I am excited to see the way you use fruit in this program.  I typically eat some kind of sugar free ice cream for snack or other sugar free options and usually do not feel satisfied.  The past two nights I have eaten the fruits and frozen grapes and feel very satisfied.  I have to confess that I have weighed myself the past 2 days and was shocked to see that I had lost 5 lb. (this was weight I gained in the past week or so because I got off track with my other program but I am glad I was able to get it off).  I do exercise regularly (weight training, aerobics and cycling) so I am anxious to see how I feel during and after my next vigorous workout.  As Roger discusses in his book I have been a very fit overweight person for a long time, wishing I could just exercise and eat whatever I want.  In the last 8 months I have come to realize how important what we eat is to maintaining and losing weight.  One last thing, if there is anyone else who has PCOS, could you let me know how this plan is working for you and if you have any tips?  Tiffany

hi tiffany....welcome....for me,this is the best way of eating i have ever known....absence of cravings is great...enjoy all the things you're allowed to have and eat until you're full...i LOVE the fruit...and now my favorite summer fruits will be more plentiful...i love it...homemade bean soups....popcorn...soynuts...you're going to love this long term....you should do great as far as energy to exercise...i worked for bally's as an aerobic instructor for 10 years and i always envied instructors who ate whatever they wanted and stayed thin claiming that because they exercised, they could eat whatever they wanted and stay thin...you'll love this program because it will free you from cravings and it will give you the ability to become as thin as you want..the great thing about this diet is that it gives you a great way of eating that doesn't even feel like you're dieting..and you'll keep losing weight until your body is at the right weight for you........this is demonstrated by all the people that tell you that they ended up losing more weight than they originally intended...i have a problem with my thyroid so i don't lose quickly...but,eating this way gives me what i need to stay at it long term.....and it will do the same for you.........niki

hi tiffney.  my name is churchlady24
(lorea)  I dont know for sure but i
think have that polycystic ovary thing
also.  I have a book called "The sugar
Solution"  this book talks about this
same thing . I am investigating this
and also some other reasons for still
not losing this 50 lbs.  i lost 10 lbs
the first week and I LOVE this way of
eating and also this website  Also 1
time only have i been diagnosed 1 point
from diabetes.  Needless to say I sure
dont want diabetes.  maybe we can talk
later.  Sincerely and I will be praying
for you-I do feel this is a spiritual
condition also.  Joyce Meyers also has
a new book out and she talks a lot about what she eats.  She is just a
housewife turned preacher who tells it
like it is-I remember when she preached
to about 30 people and now she has an
audience of 10,000.  She TRULY is GOOD!
Bye bye for now and God bless you.

Hi Tiffany:  I have hypothyroidism and am a slow loser
too.  But managed to lose 13 pounds over 27 days
on this diet.  You will lost weight.  Roger has tested this
diet on himself and perfected it for God's Glory and our
blessing.  Just remember "don't get on the scale" for
one month.  Then after the one month, you will just
be amazed.  You can eat all the fruits and vegetables
you want, except potatos.  In which case, you won't
want them after eating all the corn on the cob, squash,
peas, beans you can possibly eat.  The recipes on this
site are amazing.  Especially the Israeli soup.  Now if
that doesn't take away a pasta or potato craving, then
nothing will.  After a little while, you won't have the
cravings ANYMORE.  For the first time in years, food
isn't Lord over me.  It's no longer an idol.  That means
more to me then anything in the world because now
I know I am walking in obedience to the lord in this
area of my life.  We are here for you Tiffany.

Thanks to you all for such a nice welcome.  I gave LDL to one of my clients today who is really struggling with her eating.  She has become a very fit overweight person and could really benefit from the eating program.  Also, I taught a class today and felt great!!!  I look forward to communicating with everyone in the future.  Tiffany
