It's okay with me  I don't like noise except my own and my friends around me.  As for crowds key west is already crowded without a speciel event.

So, we are talking about the weekend between the Fantasy Festival and the Boat race. Are you sure the rates will come down? I know the rates are usually high for the Festival and a lot of people may stick around for the race.

LM, Whatever dates you choose will be fine with me.  I am retired, but others will need to get the time off.  We were in KW in March a couple years ago, and the room rates were sky high.    JF

I wanted to go so bad but I am not sure I will be able to now due to my new job.  I only get 5 weeks and will be using them in the summer to visit my son and family.  Taking the time will not be the problem it is just that flying out of Nunavut more than the couple of times a year (which are paid for by my work) is very costly.  I will try to figure it out and come but since it is a year away it will be up in the air. 

It sounds as though you have it under control.  I'm hopeful that we can make it.  Happy Halloween!!! Nov. 1st--doesn't seem possible.  JF

Mary I just want to say thank you to you for all of your hard work and organizing.  I am making plans to come next year.  I don't know how I will manage it yet but I know I'm working hard and visualizing so God will make a way for me.  *HUGS*  I'm flexible on dates too.

I've been off the boards for a while and I'm excited to see that the convention is going to be in the Fall!  I'm hoping I can come!

I'm going to make two goals for this "year of Lynda"!  One is to get to Onederland and the other is to get to convention whether it's in October or November I'm going to put it in my plan and budget this year.  This time of year is way better for me.

First week in Nov. sounds good to me too.   I am not able to plan more than a couple of months out right now....if our house sells, we will probably be there.  If not, we'll probably have to stay home.  It sounds like a lot of fun!

Dates work for me today.  Who knows when November rolls around!

If I put my kayak in the St. John's river at the end of the street and paddle out to the Atlantic and then down through Mosquito Lagoon to the Keys I might just make it in time.
