Books-a-Million is where I got my first copy of Let's Do Lunch about 1 1/2 years ago.  There was one hidden copy that I searched for book by book in the diet section.  Tonight, I went into that store to look around and there was a display with various "diet" books and down at the bottom was three copies of Let's Do Lunch!  Then in the regular section I found 2 more copies!  I couldn't help but smile.  I wonder how many people have gone there to buy the book, since now they keep 5 copies in the store.  I think back to the First magazine I read in the hospital waiting room lobby that started my whole LDL journey and then the people I shared with and then the people they shared with.  It makes me realize that maybe we can't change the whole world, but each one of us can do something that can be the start of change in a small part of the world.  I wish I could thank the person who left that magazine in that waiting room!  She'll never know how many people were helped by her act of kindness.

Also, a friend who is doing great on LDL (probably has lost 70 lbs. by now) shared with me that another woman I know asked her about LDL.  This person has always been slender as long as I've known her.  I asked her once how she managed to keep her weight down.  She admitted that it wasn't easy and she worked at it.  She had a weight she wouldn't let herself get over.  Well, she is now in her early 40s, I guess.  She had 8 - 10 lbs. that she just couldn't get rid of.  My friend explained the LDL way of eating and this woman is so happy with the results.  She said the scale hadn't budged in 2 years and nothing was working for her anymore.  It made me realize that LDL isn't just for those of us who've had great difficulty with keeping our weight down.  It is for people with just a little to lose too.
