I have been not a good supporter to everyone as I have not been good to me. I have reread chapters 2-6 and know what to do and now I am going to do it again. It is the again that is hard. I have told myself every excuse in the book on why I was eating wrong and the bottom line is temptation was there and I took it. I don't feel good with myself as when I eat the breads etc I am sluggish I don't sleep well and the weight does go right back on one pound at a time. I will make it this time with everyone's help. Snoopy is coming back also. I seem to need her for the bantering and support. We work well together.

Donna! *HUGS* Hey girly. I'm coming back too. I'm so glad to see you again. We can and we WILL do this. Just look at all the people we have here who are cheering us on.

Isn't it cool how God is using them to show us how much he loves us? We are LUCKY girls! I love you to little bitty bits and pieces. *MORE HUGS*
Blessed and loved,
LP

Welcome back Donna, you and Snoopy were surely missed.
I too have trouble turning my back on no-no foods in the house.
I can "just say no" at work, but not so easy when foods are calling me at home.
Must be the plate-cleaner, and thou shalt not waste syndrome.
Its a new year soon. Clean out the house and fill the cupboards and fridgie with great LDL foods
We WILL make goal this year!
Now, where, or where is Deborah D?

Hi all,
I was at the goal I first intended and was satisfied . A size 16 and 175. Which is not bad for me as I am tall. The doctor said just maintain now. BUT I am no longer satisfied at this point so am setting a new goal at 160. I will wear a 10-12 at that point, I remember being that size. So friends here I go again. Gonna get my book out and try to start again. Have a nice day all.

Thanks everyone for the support Boy do I need it. Yesturday was a good food day. The temptations are still coming into the house. Auntie sent home a box of chocolates and a can of German chocolate cookies which my DH opened. The box of chocolates are going as a hostess gift tommorow and the cookies are on a shelf where I can't see them.
RT Thanks for the works of encouragement
LM I am having earl gray tea today. I don't know what I would do without my tea
Linda My home temptations are hard I have just about everything gone out of the house
LP We will make it I am sure of that
Crick Thanks for the support you have always been there for me Say hilato (choctaw for hello) to mom. trying to learn some of the language
Wither- I am not sure where the train is right now and I know it is out of control but just around the bend is a bright future for all of us.
I think Snoopy is going to put up a new challenge for the ride to key west. Her remodel is done and we promised each other to get back on track. We need the straight track not the one with all the twist in it

Welcome back. We have missed everyone and love when our family returns home.
My days are really busy with my son being home for the holidays so I haven't had time to keep up on the boards.
We did ok on Christmas but not perfect so immediately we jumped back on the train and are going strong.
We will make our goals this year!!!!

I love that this is truly a community of people who encourage each other. I'm so glad I decided to post on this site. I never really did that kind of thing, but communicating with others in the same situation I was in helped me do so well. I'm so glad people are recommitting to a new healthy LDL year in 2011. It really is the best way to eat.
Anyway, Donna, we are all pulling for you and know you are going to do it and then maintain it!
Snowbirdie, your body will settle where it is healthiest, I believe, if we keep eating this way. Can't wait to hear what happens!

Welcome back! I was thinking of everyone today and realizing I hadn't been on the boards in a very long time. I haven't been completely off track but my family has been extremely busy and I'm glad things are slowing back down.
Donna, I'm back to cheer us both on to Skinnytown! What an encouragement you've been to me!
Blessings,
Julie

Welcome back, Donna. I've missed you and SS. You can do it in 2011. I hope your health improves. Julie, I've missed you as well. I learned a lot in SA while with all of you. We need to be on the boards. It's the only place I blog, well, I do facebook a little. I'm grateful for LDL. If I had been on a diet, I would have gained all my weight back and then some, but because I get to eat, eat, and eat foods I love, I have no cravings so I've maintained since August. I have gone through 2 Christmas seasons on LDL. It's because of all the good help and recipes from the boards. I'm kicking off a weight loss program in our neighboring county in January. I talk about several things, but mostly about LDL. I hope a whole lot of people are turned on to it. There are many who are doing it in my area. Happy New Year to you all!!! We are going to Country Girl's for dinner. Wonder what she will serve?

and

Hey Clown Lady,
I'm glad that you and Snoopy are going to to be back online. I want to suggest that you read I Chronicles 4:10. It's the Jabez Prayer that I rediscovered. I prayed it hard during vacation (keep me from evil) was the food and everytime I tried something it tasted bad and I had to have a piece of pineapple (took three up with me) to wash out the taste.
I think this prayer really goes well with LDL and "increase my territory" well Cricket and anyone else does that everytime they teach a class or talk to someone about LDL.
I was a week with heavy sweets and bread eaters and my pants still fit the same thanks to LDL and the Jabez Prayer.
Oh and it was great to hear my Dad tease my husband about not feeding me. I looked skinny to him! My Mom said I looked great. Guys, these are two people that do not hand out compliments easily.

Good for you, Kayaking. I love Jabez's prayer. It does fit well well with LDL. Had not thought about it. Glad your parents noticed.
