kilt does not fit

Post by ladyhawk21 »

i have a Burns Dinner Saturday night that i am hostess and my stupid Hostess kilt did not fit- i have gained all the weight back as well an extra 20 pds
so i have to decide if i don't care anymore or if i want to get back in the gym and start eating right again.  eating blueberry muffins and donuts is very bad!!
as well as pancake and honey nut cheerios for supper everyday!!  i will let you know what i decide as soon as i decide.  LOL

Renee,

Do you remember how good you felt by eating unprocessed food?  I encourage you to take that LDL step and if you don't feel like going back to the gym, remember you don't have to exercise to lose weight on this eating plan.  Hope you decide to rejoin the family.

Lots are coming back, you might as well join in.
Someone was asking about weight lifting and I said the most weight I have lifted is my index finger to the keyboard!!!
It is slower without exercise but it does work just eating LDL foods. I love the reshaping.

It can be depressing when you are good and go a long time without losing. But it will work if you don't exercise, I am one that does not. Don't be too hard on yourself. We are all here to welcome you back should you decide to join in.

Renee- Thinking about you.  You know you will feel better physically and emotionally if you climb back on the train and achieve Skinnytown again!
You can do this and you will.  You know how to do this!  Like Linda said, you'll be in great company with lots of experienced LDLers!    Pam

AMEN Roger!!! This has been the easiest eating plan I've ever followed (and believe me I've tried them all in my yo-yo dieting). Also, I am 8 lbs below my old WW goal and am the smallest I've been in 20 yrs. Not bad for a 62 yr old who now feels like a 30 yr old!!

I luv LDL!!!
Ollie
LDL since 10/13/2009.....Reached Goal Weight 2/14/2011.....88 lbs lost

Make everyday an LDL day!!!

Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point.

thanks everyone- my problem is that i just dont like a lot of foods- only 2 veggies  corn and green beans- i dont eat a lot of meat (dont like they way the animals are treated) only a couple of fruits - apples- strawberries, bananas, and watermelon and pineapples ( a little- cant eat much of them, as they bother my stomach) and only 1 bean, pinto.  i detest cooking if it takes longer than 10 mins.  hate going out to eat.  i may stop eating altogether.
so the way i lost all the weight last time was to go to the gym everyday- walking in the evenings to and used a body building eating plan-

at the moment i have a vit d def. low ferretin and my thyroid is giving me a fit as well as now the Dr. says i am in the (change of life)  lovely!!!!
i am just to tired to go the gym at lunch is it just a pain to run downstairs, workout, shower and back to work.  cant do it after work as i have to rush home to the dogs so they can go for their walk.  i am just to d tired at the moment to deal with any of it.

anyway i bought some apples, bananas for this week.  i am just to picky of an eater.

I do hope you don't give up on loosing weight. everyone has had great input for you. I know you have tried this woe before so you know what it is all about. that said it might help to reread chapters 2-6 to see if there was anything in there that you might have missed that would make it all a bit easier for you. My taste buds changed when I started LDL. Lots of foods I didn't like before I really enjoy now. I think it is because without all the chemicals in the processed foods the taste buds really light up so to speak.
Wishing you the best and know you can do this if you determine to do what it takes to figure out what will work for you.! Hang in there!

thanks Roger

thanks Mary- i dont like veggie soup-  i like corn , i like greens but i don't like them together and they have to be fixed a certain way
i like raw carrots but cant stand them cooked -= i am such strange person i know and really way to picky

i think at this point if i stay away from the sugary items i will be on the right path- i am on day 3 of my sugar detox- i went a year without junk food and i know that i can do that again as long as i work hard at it

i did get some good news today- my son got a call from the city and he was offered a job here.  so that is some relief from my stress

Good news for your son, Renee.  And your stress level, too.  Unemployment is very high in our part of the country also.  Pam

hey mary;
lol i may go days or weeks w/o eating fruits or veggies
i bought some apples for b-fast this week- but they were a little stale (soft) and i like my apples crispy- my bananas have to be fresh to- cant stand a ripe banana
this time of year its hard to get any decent fresh fruit and once again another dislike- canned/frozen fruit.
the only way i will get corn is if it is on the cob or the new frozen (steamed) bags they taste pretty good and fresh.
i like broccoli and cauliflower- but it is usually more that i want to pay for it- but i will eat it in the summer
i do at the moment have a Vit-d def. but have not broke down and bought any- i just don't think vitiams are much good anyway they are not FDA regulated so you don't know that your really getting what the bottle says

4 days of no candy bars or blue berry muffins.

I am going to try the spinach in the smoothie. I used to munch on baby spinach at work but it always got caught in my teeth , so not attractive.
