Hello everybody, I shared this with Mary yesterday and in my heart I believe I am also to share this with anybody coming on here that has just heard of Roger and LDL. Most of us are waiting for our book from Amazon I just could not wait so I have read and read every post on this website and asked alot of questions until I got it in my head on how to do this "new way" of eating. I like everybody else prayed that this time "this one would be it!" Well it is!! I am a insulin dependent diabetic. I am 40 lbs over weight, 55 years old. I have to check my blood sugar several times a day. I start in the mornings when I get up, then at lunch then at dinner and last just before I go to bed. Some days I feel like a pin cushion. There is rarely a night that I don't have to take what the doctors call "instant insulin " because my blood sugar is so high from dinner, it is what they give to diabetics in the emergency room at the hospital. Brings your blood sugar down really quick, then you go to bed and pray that you don't wake up in the wee hours with a blood sugar drop and have to get up and go eat something quick to bring it back up!!! Besides that insulin ,I take a another type of insulin in the morning and at dinner in the evening before my meal, it is called a "slow acting insulin" and ALSO 4 diabetic pills a day! So now you know why I am soooo excited! I started this new eating style on Monday morning, no shot at night before bed, not on Tuesday, not on Wednesda either! My blood sugar has been so low in the mornings that I think something is wrong and take it AGAIN!! It has been in the 70'S every morning , after not having to take the instant insulin at bed time!!!!!!!! ; have also lost 1.5 lbs.!!!!! Insulin makes a diabetic hungry, so when you eat your blood runs high so then you have to take more insulin to bring it down then when it comes down you are hungry again!!! A DOG CHASING IT'S TAIL! I was so worried that the fruit amount I would have to eat would throw my blood sugar out of control , after all I have been told for years that we could have " only 7 grapes" ,,,,,,who eats only 7 grapes? I now eat several, several grapes, fesh or frozen. I know that some day I will be able to post that I am off of insulin totaly!!! I pray that this encurages anybody that is surfing the LDL website with diabeties and sees this post. There is hope for us ! It is with LDL,,,, Thank God and Thank Roger and Thank Mary!
In His Nmae, Sharon Moon

I too am a diabetic and was skeptical of eating so much
fruit. My blood sugars were out of control. Now that I've been doing LDL for 11 days my sugars are under control and I have dropped 9lbs. I'am on an insulin pump and hope one day that I can rid myself of it. This life style change (not diet) has truly been a blessing. I thank you Roger for sharing such an amazing way of eating. You are an answer to so many prayers.
