I thought I would share this with you all. I am almost through my first month and have not lost very much this last week. I was for one reason or another discouraged over the past 2 days. I cheated today, at Mcdonalds, ( we took students there for lunch) mainly because I was in the woe is me mode. I am a teacher and people have been asking over the last three weeks what I have been doing to lose weight, because they were curious, not because of results they were seeing from my weight loss.
When we returned to school, after I cheated I had two people ask me how much weight I had lost and told me I was really looking thin today. I could have kicked myself for falling off the wagon, but can recover fairly easily.
I just thought if those same two teacher's had told me yesterday, that I was looking thin, I know I would have not cheated.
I think the testimonial of the lady that lost 33 pounds really made me feel like I was not losing fast enough. (How did she do that???) I discussed with my husband this morning the importance of losing slowly so the weight will stay off.
My advice to you all is try not to get discouraged, and look up.
