voted....we have to get to these young people who think they are infalable and nothing bad can happen to them.

Just bought a new car with hands free phone ability but still don't talk on it unless it is really important.  You just can't drive and talk and be perfect at both.  I hope we as a nation continue to bring this problem to the attention of everyone.

It's not just the young people. I have a friend whose daughter was hit by a cop that was texting his girlfriend. He was about my age.

I just cast my vote.  Not only do I want to keep those I love safe, I hate to get behind someone that is too busy texting to pay attention to what they are doing.  My daughters will probably not agree with me, though.  (you know who you are!!)

If you have time vote again and again until the 20th as we are currently 3rd out of 20.  We're really small--only 600 students so it takes a lot of friends to get us at the top.

Sorry I read this too late to vote. I firmly believe that telephoning/texting are both incompatible with driver awareness and safe driving!
