LDL Beef stew
I just used my favorite beef stew recipe and made it LDL style and it was amazingly good.
2 lbs. lean stew meat
1 T. olive oil
1 onion
1 bag carrots
2 cans butter beans
1 T. worchestire sauce
1T. lemon juice
1 package stevia in the raw
2 beef boulilon cubes
2 bay leaves
4 cups water
Brown lean stew meat in 1 T. olive oil. add onion and carrots, saute a few more min. add 1 can butter beans, drained, 4 cups water, worchestire sauce, lemon juice, steveia, boullion cubes, and bay leaves. simmer for 2 hours. pureed one can butter beans with a little of its juice and add as thickener. Very good. If Roger okays potatoes - this would taste good over a baked potato.

Re: LDL Beef stew
I tried this yesterday and the hubby said it was a keeper. I had a small venison roast that I used so I only put in one bay leaf & didn't have bouillon so I used beef broth.
Thanks again,
Kathy

Also try a few dashes of allspice - I forgot that my mom used to put allspice in hers.

Thanks for the beef stew recipe Jencita. Yesterday I made meat loaf for the guys. Today I'm making meat loaf for me (anybody can have it, but it's LDL).

Pretty much how I do it, Tina. I shop
and cook LDL. You want something different, you buy and fix it yourself.

Glad you enjoyed Tina - I make my meatloaf just like the quaker but I put in squished kidney beans instead of the oatmeal and my kids actually prefer it that way.
