Lentils -- dressed up any old way, or plain with a little salt and seasoning -- are one of my favorite foods! I grew up right next door to the lentil fields in Eastern Washington, so we had them often!
I haven't tried the frozen grapes as a summer drink, but I do put them in the food processor, with just a splash of fruit juice, and puree them for a FANTASTIC substitute for ice cream. Even my hubby, who is NOT a "diet food" fan, thought they were great.

Hi Terri,
Look in the FAQ section. I believe there is a thread there for more info. I went on line and did a search for real foods original corn thins and 3 places came up. I just received my case yesterday and boy was I ready. They were really good to me -
I needed some crunch and something on which to spread stuff. Of course my family would probably think I am crazy if I tried to put them on a plate for appetizers w/ FF cheese of course. I think they would probably do a cartoon head spin without the Polly o on the table. We're Italian and I think it is part of our religion

Hi Terri
Check out this link from the Real Foods people: http://www.cornthins.com/interUSA.aspx
You can click on your location and see if Corn Thins are available in stores near you. I found some in a nearby city, but only the flax and sesame varieties. Still, I tried a package, just to see if I liked them, before committing to buying a whole case online.
Amazon carries them. Beware, though.
If you get them from Amazon DIRECTLY, you don't have to pay shipping. Some of their other sellers carry them also, and for those you DO have to pay shipping. When I tried to order them, Amazon was out of stock (I guess LDL has caused a run on Corn Thins! Woo hoo!). It would have cost about $10 more, including shipping, to get them from another seller, so I waited a few days until they came back in stock directly at Amazon. Look for the FREE SHIPPING icon!
I thought the Corn Thins were pretty tasty and versatile li'l critters. They crumble into soup as crackers, make a great platform for a burger or sandwich, take spreads like hummus nicely, and lots of other options. Mine should be here this week!
Take care

Hey Terri,
Thanks for another ice cream substitute. I have been having the frozen bananas pulsed into an ice cream consistency and boy did that hit the spot. I will do the grape thing on the weekend.

Hey, Terri 2,
I had to wait a week, but as of this morning, Amazon has them back in stock with free shipping. I just ordered a case. I hesitated at first, but they sound so versatle and delicious from everyone's posts, I figured I'd use them up easily.

Re: Frozen grapes good - brown grapes bad!
Thanks everyone. I found the corn thins at the local health food store. Bought two bags just to try. I will eat them with tuna salad( when my BF eats it with Pork rinds!)
He is a dedicated Atkins dieter. He and I do not agree on diet at all! We have not had the big discussion about LDL yet. He is getting curious but hasn't said much. I think slowly I might be able to convert him but am just quietly following LDL. He is eating the soups with me but they taste so dang good!!!Last night I cut up a cantalope and he ate some so we shall see if I can bring him around without him digging in his heels. My mom always told me the key to men is let them think it is their idea!!!
I took that to heart and it is so true!
My pearl of wisdom at 5 A.M. !! LOL
Everyone have a great weekend!!

It's funny sometimes the things we remember........or don't. It reminds me of this song:
He: She:
We met at nine. We met at eight.
I was on time. No, you were late.
Ah yes! I remember it well.
We dined with friends. We dined alone.
A tenor sang. A baritone.
Ah yes! I remember it well.
That dazzling April moon! There was none that night,
And the month was June.
That's right! That's right!
It warms my heart to know that
you remember still the way you do.
Ah yes! I remember it well.
