Idahoali - Week 4

Post by Idahoali »

This is the start of week 4 and I've lost 9.4 lbs!  Honestly it has been painless.  As I go I'm finding what works best for me, some days it's 'pure' LDL, somedays, I have some kind of veggies or leftover soups (minus any kind of meat) for dinner, I've had 2 weekends where I gave myself a 'free day' but even then I didn't go nuts!  It was maybe one meal where I allowed myself something that's not LDL friendly.  I'm not saying this is what other people should do, but it's what's working for me.    This morning, as I put on my slacks that I haven't worn in over a year, I realized as great as I'm feeling and as happy as I am to be losing - it's time to add in the exercise.  A skinnier droopy bottom is still droopy!     So this week my goal is to incorporate a fitness regimen back into my life.  I will start by doing to 20 to 30 min workouts on the days that I've scheduled to exercise, and once I'm into the routine, I will increase my intensity.  I'm going to be in Florida in March, it may not be bikini weather, but I'm going to be ready for it if it is!!
Started LDL 11/09, Fell off wagon some time in 2010. After a lot of different experiments, and failures, I've decided to come back! RESTART 01/13/12
Stats:
Goal Weight: 155
1/13/12: 179.4 (doc's office says 183)

Congrats, Idahoali! That's fantastic!! I'm new to LDL & this gives all of us newbies encouragement. I, too, am waiting a bit before beginning an exercise program (again!!). I have just about every DVD under the sun, but I like starting with Leslie Sansone. I'm not one of those that enjoys exercising outdoors when it's cold (okay, I'm not exactly into it, anytime or anywhere!) I will say, just in the short time I've been into LDL (a whole week!!) I've already noticed I have more energy.  Love this w.o.e. & the people on these boards are absolutely awesome. God bless & keep blessing!

Idahoali, 25% to goal in one month, is pretty good.  Keep up the good work!
