Let's Do Lunch Community

Hey gang,

As most of you know, I am very humble when it comes to my weight loss. I hate to mention it, because I feel as if I am boasting.

However, many of you have been clamoring for some “photos” to show my progress. So here they are.












Attached are 4 pictures. Two taken the day before my operation (January 28, 2008 - 435 lbs) and two taken on March 30, 2009 (278 lbs). In just over a year I have lost 157 pounds. For the first time in over 15 years (probably more like 18 years), I am in the 270?s.

What I find so dramatic in the pictures isn't the weight loss - but my attitude. You can actually see the pain and anguish within my face and posture (in the January 2008 picture), and how I hated the world and my life. With God's Loving Grace, the Realize band, Let’s Do Lunch, and all of YOU, I have been transformed into a happy healthy new person!!

As I continue down this road, I just want to make sure I say how I appreciate LDL’s help/guidance/love/support. I know I wouldn't have been this successful without LDL.  So to Roger, and my entire LDL family I want to say LOVE YOU ALL!!

YAY!  I'm happy to see your face on the boards as well.  You are SO HANDSOME!  My hubby thinks so, too!  He said (in a very manly voice), "Not bad ... for a guy".  LOL 

Sorry I couldn't see the four others you posted.  But I have a feeling they are ones I already have in my personal LDL photo diary.  I show you off all the time!

Tom, can you post them with the [img] codes you used when you used to post a lot of pics here?  I could always see those.

I removed the links .. and I do have the IMG code within the pictures. Have no idea why they aren't showing.
