TRY, TRY AGAIN!

I started this last week, and ate a LOT of fruit all day and was miserable and gassy by the end of the day. I then decided it wasn't for me. Got my book a couple of days ago, read it and lots of posts on this board. (This time I stocked up on beano first - lol) I ate a lot of fruit and had beans last night, which I hesitate to ever do, but the beano helped. I am amazed at how much my appetite has decreased today, even though it's only the second day. I love being able to eat fruit (I've been a low-carber for a long time) and am committed to really giving this a chance! I love the community here and all the info and encouragement. So thank you all!

Hi sk8rmom,
If you will rinse your canned beans, this will also help alot. Your body will adjust soon and this won't be such an issue.

Welcome to LDL!

Sk8rmom,
My husband and I had a problem with diarrhea and gas in the beginning but once our bodies got used to the change it went away. Just hang in there and when you body gets finished detoxing you stomach should feel fine. We feel great now and have lots of energy!

HI everybody,
I have been eating beans for three days and had a ton of gas. Kinda embarrassing in the office!!! I am hoping it gets better. I took gas-x last night. If anyone has more suggestions.. thanks Tina about rinsing the beans first.. on how to decrease the gas that would be great. I think my BF would appreciate it!!

Get some Beano and put some on the first spoonful of beans each time you eat them. That should do the trick!
