Let's Do Lunch Community

I sing on our worship team at church and after the first service yesterday, one of the other singers that didn't sing with us that morning came up to me with a big smile on her face. She has been out of town for a few weeks so she hadn't seen me in about 3 weeks. I wore a new shirt that I bought about 6 weeks ago that was too small and I was determined to get into it. She said she looked up and thought to herself "OOOH I really like LeAnn's new shirt, wait a minute!! That's not LeAnn! That's Tina!". Well LeAnn is our worship leader and she is gorgeous! She has the body of a Goddess! She always works out and eats healthy. That was a huge compliment to me!! I am no where near as small as her but for her, even for a split second, to think I was her, that was great!! 
I was able to share ldl with allot of people yesterday at church because they all wanted to know what I am doing! It was awesome!

That is awesome.  I can't wait until July, I will be away from our church for most of the month.  I can't wait until they see me when I return.  I sure hope that there is a huge difference.  Keep up the great work.  Thru Christ you can do anything.

Wow Tina, what a fun day that had to have been!  You have done such a wonderful job...49 pounds lost, woo hoo!  I am curious, how long have you been eating this LDL way?

Kathie, I have not lost all of my weight on ldl. I have been trying to lose weight for about a year and would go up and down like a roller coaster. I was at 243lb at my highest and as long as it took me to lose I wanted to see it on my ticker. I have been on ldl almost 5 weeks now and have lost 14lbs with ldl.

Tina...way to go, no more roller coaster for you!  Sure and steady with LDL will get you to goal and keep you there!

Hey Tina,

Just had to pop on and say "WAY TO GO!"    Feeling good about yourself is a HUGE part of the success and it sounds like you are going strong! 

It just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?  How is the hula hooping (is that a word?) going?

The hula hooping is doing just great!!  As a matter of fact I took our wii fit to our book study with our worship team last night and we all took turns playing and it was hilarious!  It is definitely a really fun thing to do with a big group!

Yesterday my secretary said, "Your butt is getting smaller."  I smiled for the rest of the day and every time I went into the restroom I had to look in the mirror.  It didn't look that small to me!  But, I have avoided mirrors for so many years that I don't think I even knew how big it had become.  But this one comment will keep me motivated to continue.

Isn't that funny? The things people notice. It makes you wonder how closely they are looking. 

My hairdresser asked me if I had lost weight. She said that she could tell my butt was smaller in the chair. I just said "Thank You" and didn't ask for a further explanation. I wonder how much my butt was hanging over before?

Does make you wonder just how bad you really looked when people comment like that!  Not that the comments aren't welcome, but it does make you wonder...
