Lost 28 pounds in 6 weeks!

I read about LDL in a magazine while I was on vacation & went straight to a book store & bought the book. I read the book while on vacation but didn't try following it until I got back home. Within 6 weeks I had lost 28 pounds and did not exercise at all. This is the first diet plan that I have felt like I can live with (and believe me, I've tried them all!). I'm 58 years old & have more energy than I've had in years! To me this is living (not dieting)!!! I'm going to have to find some before pics & then take some "now" photos! What a difference already! I'm already down 2 pant sizes! I still need to loose more but what a way to do it! I've told everyone about the book & many have already got started on the plan. I'll continue spreading the word! God Bless!

Sheila, those are awesome results! I'd lost about 12 or 13 lbs. by that time on LDL and am in my 9th week and have lost 19 lbs. I'm very thankful for it, of course, but please share what you are doing. We love to hear what works for different people. Sometimes we get new ideas. Glad to have you with us.

I totally gave up sweets (none at all) but w/all the fruit I didn't want it and I ate corn on the cob every day and it seemed to take my craving for bread & potatoes (which I didn't touch either). I was just really set on not eating bread, potatoes or sweets but still ate everything else. It worked ! I'm so happy!

This is great! I am new here and EXACTLY the news I need! I am looking to lose 20-25lbs and I am not big on exercise, but I try to walk or do activities with my kids. I have sciatica in my hip and tendonitis in my feet so strenuous exercise is paid for. I am not a big person but the added weight does make me feel sluggish. Thanks

Niecee, you'll love this. I'm amazed at how good I feel since I lost this weight. My feet no longer hurt. You will find those aches and pains a thing of the past, as the weight comes off. Stick with it. First deal with your cravings and don't be so concerned with the weight loss. I'm losing more now than in the beginning. In the beginning I ate whenever I felt like it, basically. I ate only LDL approved foods and I only ate my complete protein at lunch. After five weeks, I started eating only fruit for breakfast and dinner and my LDL lunch. I don't tend to snack and I found out corn slows my weight loss, so I stay away from corn. I've lost about 3 lbs. a week since I started doing that. I do exercise some -- an hour walk each day and the Total Gym 3 times a week ( sometimes 2 ). Oh, just FYI, I thought walking was going to make my feet hurt more than they were hurting already, but I found that wasn't so. Weird, but good weird. Now they really don't hurt. God is good.
