Feeling Sassy!

Hi LDL Family,

I've been on LDL 5 weeks today and 10 #s down. It's been a bit of a challange just figuring out how to do this thing, as I've been busy and haven't been able to read chapters 2-6 twice (I'm half way through my second time, it's really helping!). I'm really thankful I found out about LDL through a co-worker (thanks Jen! BTW, today Jen told me Heirloom is her aunt). I have also found lots of info. and encouragement from all you faithful message board people.

Mamy thanks, God bless you all!

Carolina

p.s. I have a very dear friend who has much to lose and I told her I would be the "guinea pig" for us both. I already lost 70 pounds before LDL on various diets and also exercise. It's really a nice change to eat when I'm hungry! I thought I would just lose 15 more pounds, but it looks like I may just get down to a "normal" weight for the first time since that "starve yourself for Mr. Jerk" that I did when I was 21. I've otherwise been obese since age 10 and I'm in the over 50 crowd now. Miracles do happen, PTL!

Welcome to the LDL Family Carolina, I am new to this way of eating also...My sister and I started on Sept,8....so we have been on this NEW WAY OF EATING for about 6 weeks now...You will love the support you get from the others on LDL...So if you have any questions just ask away...someone will have an answer for you...Just remember to eat the allowed foods on LDL and you can't go wrong...Also go ahead and tell you friend to jump right on in...the WATERS are fine....and it helps to have a close friend or sister doing this with you...you can encourage each other....by the way welcome also to the over 50 crowd...my sister and I are both over 50, in fact one of us is getting mighty close to the 60 mark,  *evil* but I won't tell you which one..
