My Journey- So Far!

Post by MsHeirloom »

It only gets better and better and easier and easier.  I've been at this for almost 5 months.  My weight loss has been steady and gradual enough that I know that I'm not "losing" it only to find it again in the future.  I'm discarding it forever.  I know I will eat this way for the rest of my life.  If I go back to eating the old way, I will regain everything I've lost.  I love this way of eating so much that I have no desire to eat junk food and refined carbs.  Eating whole and wholesome foods makes me feel so good physically and emotionally.  I am getting many complements on my improved body.  I don't care if it takes me another year or two to reach my goal, I am really enjoying the process.
Today a client told me that if I don't lose another pound, I look "fabulous."  In the past, I might have used that as an excuse to celebrate with food, to go off my eating plan, and maybe, go back to my "normal" eating behaviors.  Not the new me.  No way, no how!!  I'm going to follow this plan to my goal, or even beyond if that's where my body decides to go. Did I mention that I love Let's Do Lunch and this board.  Pam

Pam,when I read posts like yours it makes me more determined than ever to continue and succeed with LDL......I agree with what you said and I know that with the help of God and all of this wonderful network of friends that we can all arrive at the station of Skinnytown in the near future.....I am so thankful that I have bought the First magazine  every since it was first published, otherwise I may have never picked up the June edition and learned about LDL

Way to go Pam!  It's the journey, not the destination.  Enjoy.
