I have been reading the recipies for smoothies here, and there are lots of good ones. Last night while I was making one, I wondered....
Has anyone ever tried sprinkling a little powdered Jello Gelatin (NOT prepared!) into the smoothie for flavoring? I know they have great flavors... raspberry, lime, peach, watermelon, etc. You probably would not have to use much of it; it seems concentrated, and if you use the "diet" version, you won't be adding the calories either. Plus, when it's difficult to get fresh fruit in the winter, this might be a viable option for the fruit flavors everyone loves.
What do you think?
