have hope for my own children who are not walking with the Lord...i HAVE to believe that there isn't anything the Lord can't do.........

I jumped off Veronica's thread about Jeremy when this became a whole new prayer request.

Niki, your words hit home with me today.  I was a basket case at church all day.  I started tearing up in Sunday school & by the time the service started, I had tears running down my face that didn't stop all day.  The Sunday school leader stopped by our pew and asked me if he needed to apologize to me!  When I went to the altar during the invitation to pray away this mood that has bothered me all week, it came out that I'm carrying a burden for my children who are not walking with the Lord.

Kayce (28) is saved and baptised, but laughs off the idea of prayer by making jokes.  Her new husband Eric (27) was once insulted by a hypocritical Christian and uses that as an excuse not to go to church.  They plan to allow their daughter Erika (4) to decide what she believes when she grows up, without any guidance from the parents.
Michelle (19) is saved but refuses to be baptised.  She sees it as a public spectacle and states that religion should be a private matter between her and whatever God she's worshipping at the moment.  Right now she spending all her time with a wiccan family.
Neil's 3 boys, Neil, Bobby & Adam (in their 40's or close to it), their wives and children are not close to us.  I don't know if any of them are saved.  They are good, hard working people who are focused on their careers and activities.  In the 20 years Neil & I have been married, the boys have seen their father an average of 3 times each, so they really have no idea what a strong & godly man he has grown to be.

Michelle still lives at home, but the others are scattered all over.  None of the kids will listen to their parents, and resist any efforts to approach the topic. These are beautiful, intelligent, brilliant children whose lives are rapidly wasting away.

Please join me in praying that the Lord will put Christian workers in their paths to lead them to salvation, and help them grow strong in godly wisdom and faith.

ok gwen....here's the deal..........it'll be an even prayer trade....since you have 3 children and i have 2, i'm going to kick in my brother george......my children(jessica and jonathan)AND my brother george have all prayed the sinner's prayer but are not walking with the Lord.....and the same thing with the kids.....your 4 yr old grandaughter, erika,  and my 8 year old grandson, matthew.......my children and my grandson live with me(my daughter's planning on moving out with matthew in june to move into an apartment with her boyfriend)....
we will trust the Lord..that He CAN do great and mighty things.......He did not give us these children for us to watch them walk away from Him...He gave them to us for a blessing.....may they be blessed always................in Him,niki

Praying for all of these right now.  Lord, bring revival and draw these to yourself.....save these in the families of my dear friends.  May you be glorified by the changes we see in their lives soon.

Trusting Jesus,
Julie
