Grandmother is going "Home"

My "smoothie drinking" Grandmother (remember when we all started LDL together...just under two years ago?) is expected to pass into her heavenly home sometime tonight. We will all miss her but are so blessed we had such good times.
Thanks for praying for our family (especially the kids..1st time they've experienced losing someone close)
Trusting Jesus,
Julie

Hi Julie...
May God make your grandmother's passing easy and smooth.
Your attitude is inspirational.
May God keep you and protect you through this transition.

Yes...it's so exciting to think that we can go to Heaven (if we behave ourselves sufficiently so that our good deeds outweigh our bad ones or if our Merciful God will pardon us and let us in even in spite of our sins.. That day of Judgment is not going to be a piece of cake -- at least i don't expect to sail through. As i understand it, we'll have to be ready to make an accounting and we will be shown where we have been wrong (even if we didn't realize it) and that will be balanced against what we've done that has been good....oh man, i hope i can make it through. I better do something good today for somebody real quick...i need to bolster up that scale on the right side a whole lot more.
And it will be ALL the Saints and Prophets from all time that are there -- Moses, Job, Abraham, Joseph, and all the rest....and we will be in the Presence of GOD....can you imagine that? Can you imagine meeting the Virgin Mary? Isn't that just AWSOME? And no hunger...no more struggle with weight...no jealousy...no sickness...just peace and abundance and love.......and to see my little grandma again....how wonderful!
It's us who are left behind for a time who suffer the loss. And, of course, it's not fun to think of loneliness or pain as we make our own transition to the next life.
God bless us all..and Please God, let us into Heaven to be with YOU for all Eternity! Amen.

We are praying for the Peace of G-d to surround you.
If thou shalt confess with your mouth the L-rd Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that G-d hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Roman's 10:9-10
may G-d bless you

Thanks so much everyone. She is still with us...very, very weak though. I wanted to ask for prayer for Carolyn, her care provider too. She has been with Grandmother 15 months pretty much 24/7 with very little time off until lately since hospice is coming (once she took some time off and the respit care neglected to turn Grandmother...Carolyn wouldn't take time off after that, other than a few hours here and there, no matter what we did). She has become like family and needs our prayers too. Enjae, I think of you often when I'm visiting with Carolyn....thanks for the heart-hug!
The kids are going with dh to do something they love today (debate tournament) so I will be with Grandmother, Mom, Carolyn and the hospice people.
Thanks again for your prayers!
Trusting Jesus,
Julie
