Daily Prayers for our LDL Family
Posted: November 1st, 2008, 9:38 pm
Hi Everyone,
I'll bet that many of you are like me. Before I drift off to sleep each evening, I take a moment to give thanks for all I have, and to ask for blessings for my loved ones, and also to keep them safe. And I always include, "and my LDL family also". Many times, if one or another of my LDL family is going through something especially rough, I will also mention them by name.
Assuming that others of you also do this, I would like to say a little "thank you". Yesterday I had surgery -- just minor outpatient surgery -- and am doing just fine. Many of the "old timers" here on these boards know that I had surgery in April of 2007 for my droopy eyelids. Yes, some of it was for vanity, but much of it was for vision. But I knew from the very first follow-up visit that things were not done correctly. One eye was noticbly different than the other. The doctor kept saying that we needed to wait to make sure all the swelling had gone down, etc. etc..... Well, yesterday's surgery was done to correct the problem.... so we shall see. In any case, I'm feeling pretty good.
So for those of you that pray for the rest of us - thank you!
With Love,
Carolyn
