Let's Do Lunch Community

My son is in the hospital. Last week he was diagnosed with swine flu and another virus I don't know the name of.  He looked like he was getting better this weekend and even coming home soon but in the last two days he taking a turn for the worse.  He is now on a vent with 50% oxygen, fevers and a high heart rate.  The doctors aren't sure why.  Please pray for him.

I will pray that all goes well with your son for a fast and complete recovery. I will also pray for the entire family as I know there has to be much stress at this time. Please keep us updated as you can. 

So sorry he is sick, but will surely pray for him.  Father God, reach into that hospital room and touch this precious little one.  Raise him up off his sick bed and cause him to be strengthened and completely healed.  In Jesus' name, Amen!

Thank you all for your prayers.  His oxygen requirement had to go up to 60% but we are now back down to 50%. They are going to try to wean him down to 40% today depending if his oxygen saturation stays up. He is starting to act like his happyself again. 

I'm so happy for you.....and Praise the LORD for answering our prayers for your sweet baby.

We are down to 40% and trying for 30% today.

The engery burst is already here.  He's doing very well with 30% oxygen on a trach collar (he has a tracheostomy) and there's talk of him going home on Friday!

How's that son of yours doing?  I'm prying that no update means he is back to regular activity. 

Sorry about the no updates. He's doing much better.  He's still on oxygen but only a liter.
