Re: Ladyhawk's Journal
Forgot to tell you earlier - you use the "direct link" code in your profile. In the signature line, you use one of the http:/ codes. Don't remember, but there's only a couple of choices, so you can find it by process of elimination.
You only have to post 10 times before you can post pix.
Nice journal page. Good for you! Doing a good job. Sorry for rushing. Any questions, please ask.
Loves, Gwennaford

Re: Ladyhawk's Journal
LadyH - just email itto me. It's no trouble - HONEST! I like feeling useful.
Re: Ladyhawk's Journal
you told Marla - "First you need to resize your Photobucket pic to be 150x150 pixels or less for posting on your profile"
now the question is how do you resize the photo of photobucket.
thanks

Re: Ladyhawk's Journal
Once you upload it into Photobucket, it will have a little list of words across the top of the picture. Click on "Edit" then it opens the pic in a window where you can resize, crop, decorate, etc. To resize, type "150" into the box with the larger number & check "keep proportions"; the other number will change itself. Save & rename it.
If the original pic has a lot of border and you want your face to be bigger in your avatar, crop off the excess first, then resize the remaining image to the 150 x ... etc. To crop: after you have the pic in the editing window, click on 'crop'. Starting at the top left corner of the area you want to save, click and drag diagonally down toward the right until the image you want is totally within a rectangular gray area. Click on "crop image" and the excess around the edges will disappear, leaving your pretty face. Then if you still need to resize it, see above.
Happy photomanipulating!

INTRODUCING Renee (Ladyhawk) and Babie
Well, you get 10,000 brownie points for trying ! I know how frustrating it can be trying to figure this out. I take no credit - I just stumbled on the solution accidentally & my way doesn't work for everyone.
I get so excited to see new faces for the first time, and this time I got a double whammy -- And how beautiful are you both!
This is the code you copy & paste into your profile for your avatar: http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj31 ... bie1-1.jpg
This is the one you use for posting in your message windows: http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj31 ... bie1-1.jpg
You copy & paste it between the two image brackets that you will get if you click on the image icon. It's second from the left above the smileys and looks like a miniature framed picture.
Also posted in Photo Gallery (see tiny tabs in the dark blue banner above the message window)

Re: Ladyhawk's Journal
Ladyhawk,
Stopping by to tell you that you are one beautiful lady, love your pictures.
Not many posting these days, believe everyone is busy with spring things and graduations, and etc. I know that is the case here.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, Carrole
