Wendy, you look fabulous! Keep up the good work. I too look @ your menus for ideas of what to make for dinner on those indecisive days.
Thanks again,
Kathy

Wow that would be quite a trip for him. I will be finding him a home after he heals from surgery. It has been hard since we love him so much it seems no one is just right to give him a home. I know the Lord has a perfect home out there for him.

Your kidding right? Don't know if it made it on the news where you live but we actually had a women try to do that here in Minnesota, thank goodness someone at the post office found that the box was moving. She was going to mail her son in I think it was Alabama a puppy for his b-day.They had so many people that wanted to adopt this puppy that they ended up doing a lottery time adoption. It now has a good home. I really can't believe there are people that are that stupid, and would do or even think that that is a ok thing to do.I saw the picture of the women on the news and she acted like she didn't even do anything wrong, she said she put enough air holes in the box
,which by the way were taped over, and this little pup didn't even have any water,YIKES!!!!
Ok I'm done ranting now, lol! and YES I did know that you were kidding.

Breeders do send puppies all over the place. I am not sure how they are mailed but I can't imagine. My cousin in Seattle got a boxer puppy out of Arkansas and they sent it to her thru one of the mailing services.

Yes, Rodie, just kidding, of course. I'm an animal lover and want every cute animal I see.....I didn't even know that Wendy's puppy was up for adoption when I made that goofy offer! I'm very leary of the practice of sending animals on planes to new homes. There have been many tragedies associated with doing this. The temperature of baggage compartments range from subzero to over 100 degrees, depending on the season.
I'm so glad your puppy made it OK.Wither!
I never thought anyone would think I was serious about boxing that sweet puppy up and sending it to Alaska!

Well I for one knew you were not serious. I am praying for a perfect home for him close by once he gets over his surgery.

Re: Wendysgoodnews 1st day to Weight Loss
Wendy,
I have been MIA for a while...feeling sorry for myself, eating non LDL, blaming changes in my life for my laziness. I just happened to login tonight and went straight to your journal as I always have in the past and WOW...WOW...WOW...what a beautiful profile pic you have. You from the start have been one of my heroes on here and now, OMG what a change you made in my pity party. Thank you so much for posting an updated pic. I don't even know how long it's been up, but it has certainly made an impression on me. The past few days I've been dilly dallying about LDL. Now, I'm back thanks to your encouragement.
Thank you from a lost girl in Florida,
Debboe

Thanks so much Debbie. You absolutely made my day. I have been so blessed by everyone on the boards it has helped me alot. I had been getting rather discouraged about standing still for so long. I appreciate everyone here for helping me to keep going on everyday.

Re: Wendysgoodnews 1st day to Weight Loss
Wendy,
Your weight loss is amazing, I have 190, more pounds to go. I have lost 10 this past week. Love the food and the support! Found this by accident, although I believe everything happens for a reason, My weight has been an issue since 1995 when I injured my knee and became less active. I have felt deprived on everything I have tried. I love food and all the choices. This is a way of life that feels right for me.No cravings yeah!
