Hey Wendy - I noticed you eat frozen pineapple quite a bit.  How do you do it?  Do you just put canned pineapple in a bowl and freeze it?  Also how do you make your burrito?  And how do you make your bbq chicken.  Any certain kind of bbq sauce?  I love bbq sauce.  Jerrie  :)

I do freeze pineapple chunks in ziploc bags ( 2 cups w/juice).  I put them in the microwave for just over a minute so they are partially unthawed.  I also put them in the Ninja and mix oranges(tangerines) or orange juice and 100% grapefruit juice.  I put in a glass and freeze and when I want to eat it I unthaw for 1 min. in microwave and eat with a spoon.
I was not thinking when I said burrito it should have said meat enchalata which is on the boards.
I buy  BBQ sauce at our health food store without sugar.  I also make it out of my BBQ recipe book.  I bake chicken and when it is close to being done I brush it with sauce.

Thanks so much Wendy for sharing how you do you pineapple.  I'm going to give that a try.  It sounds really good.  The recipe for bbq sauce that you make out of your book, can you share that?  Jerrie  :)

Wendy - I made some of the frozen pineapple today and mixed it with an orange.  I tried it with just frozen pineapple and the frozen pineapple/orange combination.  They were both good, but I really liked the pineapple/orange combo.  The orange really enhances the pineapple.  Thanks for sharing.  Oh, I used fresh pineapple.  Does it matter if you use canned or fresh pineapple, as I guess canned is processed?  Jerrie :)

Canned is OK as long as it is canned in it's own juice and no added sugar.

I generally use canned 100% pineapple chunks.  I will put the BBQ sauce on later when I get time.
We are moving alot of our stuff over the week end into storage.  We are putting our house up for sale on Tuesday.  Please pray it sells quickly we are looking at a larger home around the corner from us.  We have started a new business and need a larger house.
Thank God I have lost alot of weight since I will be loading boxes while the guys move some of the heavy pieces.  We are only moving enough out to make our house more simple to show.  We have lots of antique furniture from grandparents and parents so it can be a bit crowded in some of the rooms.

Wendy, good luck on the sale. You might not believe in things like this but I can tell you they work. There is an old Italian tradition that say when you are trying to sell your home to buy a small St Josephs statue and bury it in the ground by the front door of your house. I did this and my house sold in one week!

Thanks so much Wendy for the info and I look forward to seeing your bbq sauce recipe in the future.  And I will certainly pray that your house sells soon.  When we sold our previous home it was definitely a "God thing"  We wanted to sell it ourselves so we just put it in a little local paper for just a few days and got a call from someone wanting to see it.  As my husband was in the driveway that day, a gentleman came along and said he heard we had a house for sale and asked to see it.  My husband told him we had someone coming to see it at 7:00 that night, but said that he was welcome to see it.  He took a look at it and told us he would let us know before 7:00 as to whether he wanted it.  He called that night and said he wanted it and the transaction went so smoothly it was just amazing.  Praise God!  I'll sure be praying for your house to sell asap and that you'll be able to get the house you want.  Thanks again Wendy.  Jerrie

Wendy - I made a mistake in my story.  My husband just reminded me that our home had only been in our local paper just one day before it sold!  I just remember that God made it go so incredibly smooth.  I pray that your house sale goes incredibly smooth also.  Jerrie :)
