Re: EnJae's Journal
lol
Well, don't be mistaken in thinking that I look like that picture today!
Today is the first time in 4 days I even got out of my pajamas!
I look pretty awful.
I bet a couple more days of laying in bed (and then taking a good shower) will have me looking good again. I'm just waiting for my fever to break.

Abso-toot-ly, Dear Gwennie! I just found it again the night before my picture was taken; and it is a little snug. So when it falls off of me it is yours!

Re: EnJae's Journal
Mmm! It got COLD here overnight. And I am enjoying a GOOD bowl of hot beef stew.
My friend made a non-LDL homemade beef stew for her family with potatoes and canned Cream of Something soup. But she set aside part of it for me first, with no potatoes and using garbanzo bean flour as a thickener. It is SO GOOD!! Especially on such a cold day.

Isn't it nice to have such an undestanding friend!.........and generous and helpful too.
It's still hot here but the beef stew sounds good to me......after all I'd be eating it in the air conditioning.
Keep warm NJ!

What a nice friend! That extra love made the stew extra warming, I'm sure. Hope you are feeling better each day.

NJ,
I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well. That was such a nice thing your friend did for you. It shows how much the people around you love and care about you. We do too! I hope you start to feel much better really soon. Hopefully when you read this - it will have run it's course.
Hope it is not so cold that you can't get a little fresh air.
Take care of you!
J

Re: EnJae's Journal
Hello Everybody. It's been so long since I showed up here that I don't know exactly where to start posting. Figured I'd start here.
Breakfast: oranges, water, oatmeal with raisins, coffee, tomato juice, Neurontin.
Lunch: lean beef, sour kraut, iced tea sweetened with Stevia, Neurontin, Dentyne chewing gum.
Snack: Handful of sunflower seeds, water.
(I've been eating seeds, nuts, potatoes and some grains for awhile now. But I am ready to get back on LDL. Just want to use up the healthy-but-too-fatty food choices I have in the house.)
I'm headed out to eat supper now.
This is NJ Love, back on the boards.

Wow I haven't seen THAT flag shirt in awhile. I need to look for it again. I know it is much too tight right now. Hey Gwennie? are you still around? Remember that shirt?

It's nice to meet you EnJae. I read the story of the shirt in prior posts and it was great (I did wonder what happened to the shirt). It is inspiring to see people that have followed this plan in the past and are back again.

I have been on the boards since 12/12/10 and that is also when I started keeping track of weight loss. I have really enjoyed the support from everyone on these boards.
