Isn't the meatloaf great?  I ate that almost every day for lunch my first week on the plan.  The menus in the book are terrific, I think that is one reason this plan is easy to stick to.  The beef stew recipe is also a winner and very easy to prepare.

Hi Thyroid,

Happy to see you started a journal.  It sure does help me keep tab on what I'm eating.  I haven't tried the meat loaf yet but here it is good.  I bought the blue cheese for it and never got it made.

Have a great rest of the week.

Hi, Marie!  What kind of sushi are you eating?  Please don't eat any with white or brown rice.  That will cause your blood sugars to fluctuate and give you cravings.  Some of the folks talked about making their own with dark brown brown rice.  If that's what you're doing, ignore my post!  ;)  ;)  :sideways:  :sideways:  Have a good LDL journey!

Hi Pat,

Thanks for look-en out for me... problem is what I ate is not sushi it's sashimi
which are small strips of raw fish without rice.  When I posted my meal on my journal spell check did not recognize the word... sorry about the confusion.. my husband made me do it.

Glad to hear it, Marie!  I used to love sushi before LDL, but I'm not a sushi chef, so I do without. :'(  Glad to have you aboard our train to skinneytown.
