Apple Pie Spice works well as does Pumpkin Pie spice in these LDL fruit pie recipes

I have 6 blueberry bushes in my yard along with a strawberry patch and other berries! This sounds like a wonderful way to use some of them in a "GOOD LDL" way. I can hadly wait to make it!

This was one of the first things I tried on LDL and it is absolutely a staple for me!
Blueberries don't do well in this 115 degree Oklahoma heat so I keep the freezer stocked with bags of frozen.
Enjoy!

Re: Hot...Blueberry Pie for Breakfast....
You mean the fresh blueberries actually make it into your house? ? ?
We have about 8 bushes, but this is only their 3rd year, so they're still only a little over knee high. Producing nicely, though, except for the 2 that had their blossoms nipped by frost. My hubby and I "graze" the blueberries and raspberries for dessert. Nothing makes it into the house.
I do love the LDL Blueberry Pie, though. Also good with apples, peaches, mixed berries........
Enjoy!

Like Linda, this is a staple for me. I buy a whole lot of fresh bluberries as well as frozen ones. I also use fresh peaches and blackberries. I make this for a dinner dessert. I put a dollop of cool whip on top. It is soooo good. Enjjoy those fresh raised berries. JF
